Alert: Several militants affiliated with TTP have been killed during a three-day security forces operation in Panjpai, Quetta. Among those killed were Umar Shahab, alias Haibati Baloch, identified as the TTP’s intelligence chief for Quetta, as well as Afghan militants. Mahaz has also obtained details of the Afghan militants killed during the operation.

Once a group takes up arms against the state, the merits of its claim no longer matter. JAAC is now a terrorist organisation and should be treated as one. Only the state holds the right to use force. We must fully back the AJK govt's crackdown. No talks.

🇷🇴 🇵🇰 Romania and Pakistan are closer in economic size than many might expect. 🇷🇴 Romania has around 19 million people and an estimated GDP of US$470 billion in 2026. 🇵🇰 Pakistan has around 259 million people and an estimated GDP of US$450 billion in 2026. 📊 Romania produces about $20 billion more annually, a 4.4% larger economy. These are total economic output figures; they do not measure average income or adjust for differences in local prices. 🤝 Two economies of similar size, but very different markets. That makes a stronger trade relationship worth pursuing. 🌾 🏭 💻 There is room for businesses on both sides to explore opportunities in agriculture, textiles, manufacturing and technology. Pakistani companies could find new customers and partners in Romania, while Romanian businesses could explore Pakistan’s large consumer market. 🌍 But trade grows when people get to know each other, understand what each market needs and find partners they can trust. More direct contact between businesses, useful trade visits and practical support for exporters would help. I would like to see more Romanian and Pakistani companies doing business together. The figures give us a reason to pay attention. Building those relationships is the next step. 🤝
