🚨 $100 up for grabs. We hid a private payment link somewhere on Gloam. 100 USDG, sitting in our vault, waiting for whoever finds it first. But you won’t find it in one place. We split it into 4 pieces and hid them across Gloam. Some are easy to spot; some would take real digging, while one is for nerds. Find all 4. Put them together. Claim it before anyone else does. The first person to claim it takes the full $100. No gas needed. No sign-up form. No one to approve you. The hunt runs for 36 hours, with hints along the way. Your first clue starts here: gloam.trade Good luck. 👀

$100B in volume is a remarkable milestone for Robinhood Chain, but the bigger story is what comes next. As traditional markets move onchain, liquidity and execution are only part of the equation. Institutions, businesses, individuals, and autonomous agents cannot operate at scale if every balance, payment, counterparty, and financial decision is permanently exposed. We believe the future of onchain finance is public settlement with private financial activity, and selective disclosure when proof is needed. That’s the thesis behind Gloam. We’re building the privacy layer for money moving across public chains, starting with private balances, payments, payroll, and swaps on Robinhood Chain. The next $100B deserves financial privacy.
Robinhood Chain is the fastest chain ever to reach $100B in volume on Uniswap. We built our chain to help bring traditional markets to DeFi, where on the same rails, they can connect with new apps, assets, liquidity, and developers in a single transaction. Milestones like this show how quickly new markets can scale when put in the hands of the most passionate onchain builders and users. Cheers to Uniswap, everyone building in the ecosystem, and all the traders in the trenches. There’s a lot more to do, and a lot farther to go. Here’s to the next $100B. 🥂🦄

Replying to @VitalikButerin
@VitalikButerin just opened Devcon and set the tone for the week. A formally verified OS, open silicon, self-sovereign healthtech, free discourse, private communication, trustworthy AI — these are all part of Ethereum's mission.
"We need to be able to trust our operating systems. We need to be able to trust our hardware. We need to be able to trust the things that are most relevant to our health. We need to be able to trust our sources of information and connection to other people. We need to be able to trust our communication tools. We need to be able to trust our AI. What is the answer? We need to figure out together." - @VitalikButerin 📍 Devcon 8, Opening Ceremony

6.3 billion dollars left @binance on October 29, the largest crypto theft anyone has ever recorded, and it was gone in about fifteen minutes. No stolen password, no careless intern. The attackers walked in through EIP-7702, the newest way an ordinary wallet can borrow the powers of a smart contract. One signed message, and everything that wallet could touch became theirs. We are not writing this to pile on Binance. We are writing it because EIP-7702 is not some exotic edge case to us, it is the exact risk we keep flagging in our own reports. Most audits never look there because they check the boxes everyone already knows and miss the new primitives, which is precisely where the next nine-figure mistake is sitting right now. Binance will recover. They covered almost all of it from reserves and reopened withdrawals within days. But the builder shipping on these same rails, with no treasury and no insurance fund behind them, does not get that second chance. That builder is exactly who we are here for. Security is not a badge you buy after you launch. It is proof you earn before it, and it is the difference between a hard week and the end of your project.

😭just build a good product not everything must be a farming strategy
i have this theory that submitting your project early gives you a better chance of winning a hackathon. if judges review in submission order, the later you submit, the more tired they probably are when they get to yours. your project might be good. but is it “i’ve reviewed 90 projects and want to go to bed” good? also, if two people build similar projects, whoever gets reviewed first gets to be the interesting one. the other person has to explain why theirs is different notice how guys like @encrypt_wizard submit at least a day before the deadline.

i don’t think ai is good at being creative, in the novel sense anything that seems unexplored completely by humans, just feels like a bottomless canyon for ai to cross ai is advancing rapidly tho, maybe something interesting would happen
It's really strange, but it feels like @OpenAI is completely obsessed with math. They've poured so many GPUs into researching extremely difficult math problems. I'm just curious: have they ever used their strongest models to try and find a better model architecture than the Transformer?

Kids flexing crypto money online can be cringe, but they’re still fkn kids bro. They made a lot of money fast. Ofc they’re gonna do dumb shit until they figure it out. Grown men twice their age anonymously talking shit about them on X is way more pathetic just sayin. 99% of you will never make a million at 18. You have no idea how you’d act either.

The way the @Bybit_Official , @bitget and @binance hacks were managed shows you that the chinese are on a whole other level when it comes to operating a crypto company

No bank run because they halted withdrawals. When Bybit was hacked, they didn’t stop withdrawals.

1/ Maybe the bigger lesson in the Binance hack wasn't abt Binance or their key management. Its about how fast the money was moved that left Binance no time to react. Onchain, a $100m transfer settles as fast as a $10 one. $6b left hot wallets in ~20 mins. This should change.

I hate that security people are the first ones letting AI replace them. When AI agents and these advanced tools started showing up, we thought security was too critical for any agent to take over. What actually happened is that Web3 security people are so smart and adaptable that we turned it into a race to replace ourselves. Everyone is competing to automate everything and offer cheaper audits, and security itself became the last priority. I keep seeing people say their AI agent can do it better. You say that because you want to sell your product and your runs. Some of you even publish pricing tiers to cut the protocol’s cost. That trains clients to pay less every time and go looking for the next cheaper offer. We are diluting ourselves, and I really hate it. We should all be doing valuable work and asking for a fair price, so we can keep doing it properly and bring smart people into this industry. Low prices will only bring low-quality people in.

It is extremely likely that Hyperliquid will be exploited in the next 7 days. I highly recommend not leaving funds that you cannot afford to lose on Hyperliquid for the time being. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Yo mates, @gloamtrade has completed its first $GLOAM buyback. I have been looking at this update, and for me, the important part is not just that tokens were bought back and burned. It is that Gloam has started putting the mechanism it has talked about into practice. The team did not want the first buyback to be insignificant, so they added to the amount generated from protocol fees. The original plan was to burn 50% of the bought-back tokens and send the other 50% to the treasury. For this first round, they decided to burn everything instead. That makes this a simple but important first step: protocol fees contributed to a buyback, $GLOAM was purchased, and the full amount was sent to the burn address. I think this matters more at Gloam's current stage than it might later on. At this point, the project is still proving that the protocol can attract real usage and generate consistent activity. So seeing the first buyback executed gives us something concrete to follow, rather than just another explanation of what the token model might look like someday. The part I find most interesting is the connection between usage and the mechanism. If more people use Gloam, protocol activity can generate more fees. If those fees grow, future buybacks can potentially grow with them. That is a better foundation than relying entirely on hype or short-term attention. But I also do not think one buyback is enough to make any big claims. The real test will be whether Gloam can build recurring usage, generate meaningful fees and continue the process without needing the team to support every round. That is what I will be watching from here. For now, the first buyback is done, the original plan was adjusted for this round, and the full amount was burned. It is still early, but this is the kind of execution I want to see more of before making a bigger judgment on the model. Swap transaction: robin.etherscan.io/tx/0x2074… Burn transaction: robin.etherscan.io/tx/0x4ed0… Treasury: robin.etherscan.io/address/0…
