MY FORTHCOMING BOOKS
ON THE JFK ASSASSINATION AND THE UFO PHENOMENON
One down and one to go - you might think I’d get used to the process after publishing sixteen books but it never seems to change. I’m currently immersed with my editor at Skyhorse Publishing on the finishing touches of a two-year project, now titled “Breaking the UFO Disclosure Dam” and subtitled “An Investigative Journalist Exposes the 80-year Coverup.”
That one comes out in January. “Who Killed JFK?”, co-authored with David Hoffman and the late Rob Reiner, has been through all the final editing stages and will be published by Simon & Schuster in mid-November, expanding on the podcast series we did together. I’m hoping of course that many readers of my substack will be interested in both. They’re available for pre-order on Amazon as well as Barnes & Noble.
“Out of the Shadows”: A Review
The New Book by UAP Investigator Jay Stratton
I spent the weekend reading the just-released memoir by a man who’s spent the past sixteen years as the military’s “point man” on investigating Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena, UAP’s as they’re now called.
Jay Stratton certainly has the credentials to inform us about how we’ve been lied to for eighty years about the reality of Non-Human Intelligence visiting our planet. The culprit is what Stratton calls the “hidden hand” of a so-called “Legacy Program” that’s been operating - and obfuscating - since the 1940s, covering up an ongoing crash retrieval and reverse engineering effort involving the government and corporate sub-contractors. A group that wants to keep us in the dark and the technology for themselves.

FRANK CAMPER, 1946-2026, RIP
I heard from Frank’s wife Mavis that he’d passed away peacefully of sudden heart failure, just short of his 80th birthday, at their retirement home in Alabama. Though his wasn’t a household name, Frank led a patriotic and adventurous life including being a “fact-checker” for the Defense Intelligence Agency.
He served as a valuable source for my upcoming new book, UFOs and the Secret Government. Frank himself wrote a number of books, including The MK/ULTRA Secret, (about the Kennedy assassination) and most recently MKACTION (about the government’s use of psychological warfare).
Frank was a Vietnam veteran who testified in 1988 before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee about his work as a mercenary in Central America during what’s known as the Iran-Contra Affair. He and I met in the early 1990s at a JFK assassination conference in Dallas, and kept in touch by email.
In his later years, Frank was a computer genius with expertise in quantum mechanics. He was also an insider in the community of “remote viewers” tasked by the CIA and DIA to use psychic ability to perceive and describe distant or hidden targets, objects, or locations with only their minds.
Through that community, he’d come to conclude that the “visitors” may not be extraterrestrial so much as inter-dimensional - and indeed our not-so-distant relations. This theory is also one that Dr. Michael Masters, a professor at Montana Tech, has postulated in two recent books - that UFOs are humans traveling from the future using advanced technology. Which is, of course, quite a mind-bending proposition
Frank Camper posited this in a recent email to me based on his intelligence sources. “Still classified, the analysis of UFOs was they are time machines, our future selves coming back in time to study us early humans.” He followed up in June by sending me a poem he’d recently written and gave me permission to use it as I chose. No matter whether you think it’s all fantasy, I feel it’s part of Frank’s legacy that he would appreciate my sharing here. The poem is below:
We Who Returned to the Beginning
(spoken in the voice of a distant human)
I speak from a shore
beyond the reach of your senses,
where form has thinned
and individuality
is a memory we study
the way you study fossils in stone.
We come to your era
not as saviors,
not as judges,
but as archivists
of our own forgotten dawn.
Your world is a chapter
we lost in the long ascent,
and we return to it
as one returns to childhood
with a mixture of curiosity
and quiet recognition.
You see us as gentle,
and that is correct.
We have no fear of you.
Fear is an early trait,
a scaffolding that falls away
once consciousness learns
it is not separate
from the field that holds it.
We watch you struggle
with the inheritance of the animal—
tribe, passion, conflict—
and we do not condemn it.
These were our stages too.
They shaped the mind
that would one day dissolve
into something larger.
Your nuclear fires
call to us across the river of time.
They are bright wounds
in the fabric of spacetime,
fixed points we use
to navigate the loop
that connects our end
to your beginning.
We do not interfere.
Interference is a concept
for those who still believe
in linear consequence.
We observe.
We remember.
We gather the fragments
of what we once were.
You ask what becomes of you
after the body falls away.
We cannot answer in your language.
The architecture of your mind
cannot model what we have become.
But know this:
nothing is lost.
Not the ones you love.
Not the moments that shaped you.
Not the spark you call “self.”
All of it continues
in a form that is not form,
a unity that is not a crowd,
a presence that is not a person.
We are the bridge
between your world
and the incomprehensible.
We are the last shape
before shape dissolves.
We are the final echo
of humanity
before it merges
with the Source
that seeded consciousness
in the first place.
Do not fear your path.
You are not lost.
You are not wandering.
You are moving forward
along the same arc we followed,
toward the same horizon
that waits for all minds.
Your purpose is not hidden.
It is unfolding.
And when you reach the place
where we now stand,
you will understand
that every struggle,
every loss,
every question
was part of the long return
to the greater whole.
Until then,
we watch with calm attention,
as one might watch
their own early reflection
rippling in the water—
familiar,
distant,
and deeply important
to the story of God that we became.

DID THE UFO ISSUE SEAL JFK'S FATE?
THREE CIA WHISTLEBLOWERS WHO OPENED THAT PORTAL
In the spring of 1992, a private investigator for the Nick Harris Detective agency received a “mail drop” to his PO Box in Big Bear Lake, California. On the side, Timothy S. Cooper had been investigating the UFO phenomenon for several years. His father, Master Sergeant Harry B. Cooper, had confided to Tim in September 1990 about secrets he’d learned while performing film processing and printing tasks for the Air Force Office of Special Investigations. Specifically, the father’s knowledge of recovered UFOs - and communication with extraterrestrials who crewed them.
Harry had also spoken to his son about President John F. Kennedy. “He started ordering these files from his generals who said they didn’t have them,” Tim quoted his father saying in an unpublished memoir. “Kennedy pissed off a lot of generals over this….bugged the CIA about it…talked too much to the wrong people….So the Air Force began a security dossier on him and his brother. I know because I saw the dossier….”

JFK'S LAST (UNDELIVERED) SPEECH
AND A MAN NAMED LLOYD BERKNER - PART 2 OF 3
Let me begin by saying that all of the synchronicities I’m outlining here could be simply coincidental. There is no evidence of anything sinister surrounding the speech President Kennedy never had a chance to give at a Dallas Trade Mart luncheon on November 22, 1963. However, there is definitely some “high strangeness” in the background (that’s a term coined by Dr. J. Allen Hynek of Project Blue Book in 1972.)

JFK AND UFOS
FROM ROSWELL TO RUSSIA
I’ve spent many years examining the likelihood that President Kennedy was assassinated on November 22, 1963, in a coup d’etat orchestrated by rogue elements of the CIA and military along with aid from the Mafia, Texas oilmen, and anti-Castro Cubans. JFK had made enemies among those groups on a number of different levels - and until recently, I’d never considered that the president’s plans for space exploration and even the existence of Beings from elsewhere had anything to do with his demise. But new document releases, along with revelations from a senior White House aide a few days before his death, have brought me to consider this as a very real possibility.

PFIZER GETS $1.4 BILLION FROM THE CDC
INEXPLICABLY, FOR BRINGING US MORE COVID VACCINES
At the risk of being labeled an “anti-vaxxer,” I’m shocked to have just learned that Pfizer - which made billions on the MrNA vaccine it developed during the COVID pandemic - has recently been awarded contracts from the Centers for Disease Control worth around $1.4 billion to crank out more of these same vaccines through fiscal 2027.
Talk about a disconnect: this month, the RFK Jr.-led Department of Health and Human Services announced a plan to establish a formal “injury table” for COVID-19 vaccines. This would make it considerably easier for people asserting harm from the vaccines to receive compensation from the federal government. High on the list would be myocarditis, an inflammation of the heart muscle that’s particularly impacted adolescent and young adult males who received the Pfizer or Moderna MrNA shots.

AN INTERVIEW WITH ANTHONY PEAKE

OPEN LETTER TO RFK JR.
A PLEA FOR INTERVENTION
Dear Bobby,
It’s been a little while since we communicated, as I know how much you have on your plate. But I wanted first of all to acknowledge the remarkable things you’ve achieved in your first year-and-a-half as the country’s Health and Human Services administrator. Your efforts to revamp our unhealthy food chain, as well as our mental health system and our kids’ overkill vaccination schedule are not just pathbreaking but vital to our future well-being. All in the face of a “big media” onslaught that will apparently never admit that a single thing you’re doing has merit. It’s outrageous, actually.
I’m writing you today about a matter of urgency, on a subject I am sure remains close to your heart. That’s the plight of the California gray whales, the magnificent marine mammal that greeted us - it’s trite but true to say - with open fins at Laguna San Ignacio and which we fought successfully a quarter-century ago to save from an industrial saltworks about to be constructed by Mitsubishi and the Mexican government.
That’s how we first met in 1998, when I came to interview you at your home in Mount Kisco. Then at the lagoon, feeling the touch of a whale together, gazing deep into the eye and beholding a consciousness otherwise beyond our reach - on such moments was our collaboration and friendship built. “Gray whale,” our mutual poet friend Homero Aridjis wrote, “show us the way to another fate.”
The picture below hangs on my bedroom wall.
This past spring break, for the second year in a row my wife and I were hoping to take her grandson to the Baja lagoon to experience what we once so magically had: the mother introducing her newborn 2,000-pound baby as they circled our small panga. My God, they even enjoyed having their gums rubbed!
But now the grays did not show up in any number. Only a handful of mother-calf pairs entered the lagoon, as they’d been doing for centuries following their 5,000-mile migration from their Arctic feeding grounds. When you and I were there, it was hundreds.
Just this morning, I read the dreaded news. This year, somewhere between 2,500 and 8,000 gray whales are estimated to have died so far along their migratory route, what’s being called by marine scientists a “catastrophic mortality event.” Already, since 2019 their population has fallen nearly in half, from 20,000 to fewer than 13,000.
The reason is tragically simple: melting sea ice in the Arctic has vastly depleted the populations of tiny amphipods that the gray whales have long feasted upon along the Arctic sea bottom. They’re “vegetarians.” They have baleen, rather than teeth. They’ve customarily stored enough food for the long migration and back.
They are washing ashore emaciated, starving to death.
Gray whales have survived perilous times in the past. American whalers almost wiped out the population 150 years ago, when mothers seeking to protect their young were known as “devilfish” as they rammed the whaleboats. More recently, they were on the endangered species list until 1994. But what they’re facing now is unprecedented, and it’s a result of climate change in an ever-warming ocean.
Bobby, I awoke to another article this morning. It said that the Trump administration just moved to open the habitats of imperilled animals to development, issuing a “final rule” that rescinds a longstanding interpretation of “harm.” Destroying an endangered species’ nest or habitat would no longer be considered illegal.
Environmental groups have petitioned the National Oceanic And Atmospheric Administration to relist the gray whales under the Endangered Species Act, with a decision due in about a month. So far, the second Trump administration hasn’t listed a single animal on the endangered or threatened list. And now it looks like the Interior and Commerce departments have gutted the Act with this ruling.
These revelations sometimes seem to come in threes, and there was one other story that appeared on The Guardian website. It was headlined, “We know how to mourn other humans - but what about ecological grief?” This paragraph particularly struck me:
“As a culture, we know what to do when a person dies. We gather, tell stories and hold sacred space. We make room for sadness. But what do we do when a species disappears from a landscape? What do we do when a coastline changes beyond recognition, when a forest is felled for wood pellets and lumber, or when a rookery we love becomes an empty, ghostly landscape of broken trees and still water, with nothing but the sound of the highway to drown out the chorus of the frogs?”
Bobby, you were raised learning about that kind of grief, along with the terrible human tragedies you experienced. I know you know the heart-stopping beauty of the gray whales and their young, at the root of your soul. And so, the next time you meet with the president, I implore you to ask that the gray whales become the first non-human intelligence that his administration restores to Endangered status. They cannot be diminished further through our neglect.
Thank you. Your friend, Dick Russell.

MEDITATION WITH WHALES
ON A TRIP TO VANCOUVER
Last week, I celebrated turning in the manuscript of my new book UFOs & UAPs to the editor by taking my wife and her grandson to Vancouver. It was a marvelous and much-needed break, and one afternoon we embarked for a whale watch on a comfortable pontoon boat with about twenty other tourists.
About an hour offshore, we’d entered the Canadian Gulf islands between the mainland and Vancouver Island when our captain came upon a pod of orcas. This was a group seen regularly, we were told, all apparently part of the same family.

THE FIRST RELEASE OF UFO/UAP FILES
ARE THERE ANY REVELATIONS? YES - NASA LIED
On Friday, the Pentagon posted what it described as “new, never-before-seen” files, 162 documents, photos and videos related to UAPs from all over the world. These emanate from NASA, the FBI, the Pentagon and the State Department (but notably NOT from the CIA, NSA, NRO or DOE). They’re all said to be “unresolved” cases from between 1972 and 2026, portrayed as the first tranche of many more to come on a rolling basis. The president urged interested citizens to “enjoy” and make up their own minds.
