A big thing I have noticed now building up a VCL roster is the T3 -> T2 -> T1 pipeline is drying up. I want to be transparent more about my operations and what I see for the future. Premier isn't there yet as a system (it is getting better) and frankly the coaching depth in T3 / T2 is pretty nonexistent. The good players that have been competing in T3 are getting their chances in T2 now, and the good T2 players got promoted into T1. It is good to see but I honestly feel like the talent coming out of T3 into T2 now needs improving. My tournaments have been that area to showcase your talent and improve, but I feel as if I can do more to help more people out. So, I will be looking for new ways to help people while also maintaining my ability to operate tournaments effectively: 1. First thing I can do that is bring back streams for the weekends. Our talented production crew is very busy so please if you are interested in working with our tournaments, send me a DM on Discord or email our Funhaver tournament email (I will not see twitter DMs). 2: I am going to also look for ways to decrease entry fees while keeping a baseline 1k prize pool per tourney. We don't operate on large margins but I have enough to reinvest OR run a LAN. I will do more work to find a better partner for our payment processing and web hosting. I have a few options I have been exploring and hope to make progress soon. 3: I personally want to do more and help more players develop. I will be looking to partner with a coaching provider or platform to offer free coaching backed by people I trust, using some of the connections I have with T1 / T2 coaches. If you are part of a platform that wants to reach every player in North America, let me know. 4: I want to run 1 LAN a year but reinvesting into the online systems may make that not feasible. I will follow up on this later this month but please let me know if this is something people want over other things (streams cost money people!) I want to do more and help more people achieve their goals of going pro, and I need to step up to bring my tournaments back to their prime.
