Talent drain in a bear market is common. But talent gain, although minor in comparison, is not uncommon.
Unlike previous bear markets, crypto is competing with AI for talent. Gains will be significantly harder this time around. Only the ones with deep conviction will remain while everyone else will likely leave.
I for one am super excited for 2026 for this very reason: the year of Crypto Autophagy.

A Bloomberg analysis found that wholesale electricity prices in areas near major data-center hubs have jumped as much as ~267% compared to 5 years ago.
