The race season may be over but WPCA driver Mark Sutherland is already working with the new horses in preparation for next season
We drove a few rookies today. Commando got his first trip & he went great. Very happy with his attitude & effort. He loves to charge hard when we turn. I bought him over a year ago but he wasn’t ready to train so we have him the year off. It looks like it is paying off. #ottb

Cash taking a stroll in the pen during his play time. He’s a very smart horse who loves to run and compete. Truly one of the most clever horses I’ve ever had.

Building Effective Teams, something we do everyday on the @chuckwagonmark racing team. This got me thinking of a course offering at the Sutherland Ranch.

POWER!! You don’t see this very often. This morning on a training run, 3 of the boys who ran fastest time night 1 of the 2018 @CSchuckwagons lift the wagon off the ground when the horn goes. I think Spring, Digger, Cash & Ice are ready. What a great feeling of equine excellence – at High River, Alberta

Tip was playing in the water this morning at the @GPstompede. These boys have such unique personalities. They love racing on the @WPCAChucks but they love playing in their pens during the down time. – at Grande Prairie County No. 1, Alberta
