I can't wait to go back to ignoring the Pope. The Pope hasn't been relevant outside the Catholic faith for 300 years.
I think what you meant to say is: "I'm a Karen"

I am an atheist with respect for other peoples beliefs and religions...not to mention feelings. Many Catholics are still grieving over the loss of Pope francis...I am not personally offended.. I chose my words carefully... I consider it deeply disrespectful.

First they sued him. Then they prosecuted him. Then they tried to take him off the ballot. The only thing more tragic than what just happened is that, if we’re being honest, it wasn’t totally a shock. Biden’s inevitable ritual condemnation of political violence today (when it comes) will be insufficient and irrelevant. No amount of verbiage today changes the toxic national climate that led to this tragedy.
Apoorva and I mourn for the rally attendee who was apparently killed by the shooter. We believe the fact that President Trump is safe right now is nothing short of an act of God. My heart tells me God intervened not just for Trump, but for our nation. Today, the future survival of the United States of America came down to less than a hair’s width in the path of a bullet.
If any good comes of today, let it be this: Americans just had the chance to see our next President’s true character, unvarnished. He took the fire, he took the hit, he felt the blood, and then he stood right back up for the people he was put here to lead.
Regardless of who you vote for, let’s unite around the TRUTH that what happened today is unacceptable, now and forever. May we all remember Thomas Jefferson’s words 225 years ago:
“A little patience, and we shall see the reign of witches pass over, their spells dissolve, and the people, recovering their true sight, restore their government to its true principles. It is true that in the meantime we are suffering deeply in spirit, and incurring the horrors of a war and long oppressions…And if we feel their power just sufficiently to hoop us together, it will be the happiest situation in which we can exist. If the game runs sometimes against us, we must have patience till luck turns, and then we shall have an opportunity of winning back the principles we have lost, for this is a game where principles are at stake.”
If you have your nerd card and are following "The Acolyte" debacle, you will love this. If none of that is true, we are not friends and you can pound sand. nitter.gq/RealHypnotic1/status/1…
I am amazed, looking back through my feed, at how many people I've responded to now have their posts protected. Cowards without conviction in their beliefs.
There you go @Emywinst I do indeed think you're an idiot.

Fuck the ADL
The ADL (Anti-defamation League) has been taking a lot of heat this week.
The ADL is literally 110 years old. They have been at the forefront of anti-hate and stopping hate speech for over a century. While I don't agree with every single action that the organization takes, they have been an overall net positive for those fighting against antisemitism and extremism.
The irony in all of this is that the amount of hate I've seen this last week directed at the ADL has been off the charts. The posts attacking them, as well as the antisemitism that has surfaced, shows me why this organization is continually needed.
No I don't think that some things should just be scrubbed from the internet, but I do think that having an organization that educates the populace and promotes anti-hate efforts is a net positive.
Here are some of the goals of the ADL:
- Advocating for civil rights
- Promoting Hate crime legislation
- Monitoring extremist groups
- Supporting Holocaust education
- Combatting online Hate
- Promoting diversity
- Fighting antisemitism.
While I'm sure the ADL has pushed X on things that X may think is too far, it's clear to me that @LindayaX and Elon have been working with them to weed out some of the really bad people on the platform.
As a Jewish American, I support most of what the ADL has accomplished, but I also feel that X has significantly improved over the last 6 months in de-boosting some of the most hateful, antisemitic posts. It's far from perfect, but a steady improvement is the best we can ask for.
One can also be pro free speech while being anti hate speech.
Watching the left absolutely MELT DOWN over 200million views is like being touched by a familiar lover. So good.

“Ideas you find repugnant” span the entire spectrum of belief.
A Jewish baker should not have to bake a swastika cake
A gay web designer shouldn’t have to create a web page opposing gay marriage
A Muslim photographer shouldn’t be forced to document a bar mitzvah.
And a Christian baker shouldn’t have to design and create a gender-reveal cake.
It’s about forced speech, regardless of the opinion being forced upon the creator.
You can despise him if you want, but there is a double standard on stark display right now. If you cannot, because of petty tribalism, acknowledge that, then you have absolutely zero integrity and have proven yourself unworthy of consideration, and should be ashamed.
