After taking time to reflect over the holiday weekend, I’m feeling especially grateful. To have my work featured in 12 books—with another on the way—is something I don’t take lightly.
Seeing my two books placed at the center of this photo, surrounded by the incredible work of so many inspiring authors/educators/leaders, is a humbling reminder of the journey, the support, and the purpose behind it all.

I can finally announce that I had the distinct honor to be the first of four speakers for the White House and US Department of Education Summit on Digital Equity, Inclusion, and Emerging Technologies at the National Press Club in Washington D.C. I was proud to showcase the outstanding work that our Brigantine staff, scholars, and commUNITY have done and where we are going in the future.
