i write for the ones who drift beyond the edge of usefulness, who miss calls, lose years, stare too long at stained ceilings and forget what day the world expects them to become productive again.
the ones who walk through crowds without attaching themselves to any banner or certainty. history moves around them like traffic around roadkill. still they continue. still they make coffee, fold shirts, feed stray cats, survive another silent evening without ever finding a language large enough to explain their exhaustion.

Sometimes knowing something is destroying you isn't enough to leave, because the thing hurting you may still give you something.

What does it mean to say God made the world for humanity when beneath the same heaven one man is given a house and another is left to wrestle with hunger, darkness, and the cold earth for the right to see another morning?

Homeless man explains why it's important to change our opinion and our course based on new information

i’ve been homeless for 14 months. in that time, i built a ko-fi account, wrote six ebooks, and around 50 articles on psychology, philosophy, childhood trauma, and fighting depression.
while fighting depression, i ran a 5k, 10k, 21k, and a full marathon. since december of last year, i’ve walked more than eight million miles.
i don’t romanticize pain, and i don’t vilify comfort. homelessness is brutal. going two or three days without food, eating discarded food, sleeping on floors. i am fighting every day to get off the streets.
but facts are facts. i wasted more than 20 years of my life. i don’t blame god or anyone else. i made bad choices.
and that is the hardest truth: i cannot pretend pain is noble, yet i cannot deny that pain forced me to stop taking my life for granted. somehow, the worst 14 months of my life have produced more from me than the previous 20 years.
that contradiction is mine to carry.

people often call themselves unmotivated when the real problem is that they've spent too long functioning under conditions that constantly drain them.
i'm not a psychologist. but going without food for three days taught me how quickly survival narrows your attention.
when your mind is occupied with the next meal, long-term goals become harder to hold.
sometimes what looks like a motivation problem is actually a resource problem.
before judging yourself, ask what your mind is being forced to prioritize.
my books explore questions like these through my own lived perspective.

Homeless man understands the value of working hard for the little we have , that a meal tastes better if you worked for it
rebellion is often misunderstood as the desire to destroy what exists. sometimes it is the opposite: a refusal to accept what has become corrupted.
beneath the anger can be a memory of something simpler, fairer, more human. the rebel says no because some part of them still believes there was a better way things could be.
rebellion begins with rejection, but beneath it lies a longing for restoration.

this is bigger than getting me off the street. it’s about building a small community where struggle becomes action, and where we help each other build what comes next.
this goal isn't about one person carrying me. it's about enough people taking one small step together.
you don't need to give $20 or $40. even $1 matters. 200 people giving $1 gets me $200 closer.
and when you can't give, share this. share it widely. share it like your life depends on it, because mine does.
my writing is here too. six books, 50+ articles, and the work i've been building through all of this.
thank you for walking a few steps with me.
