Every site is hacked. Every post is AI. Every DM is a scam. Every tap feeds the algorithm. The web is decomposing.

My incredibly unpopular take 1) I will join Quorum as that’s where the amazing people I have spent the past few years with will be 2) I’m staying on Farcaster as I am curious to see what will be developed there. I joined a social network and the original vision has not materialised, I’m happy to spend my time now exploring what both new stewards cook up. They are radically different visions but for me as a user my goal is to learn, be entertained and share and both of these can achieve that.

we used to use blockchains because we didn't trust institutions, now we use institutional blockchains and don't trust ourselves or each other the original promise was permissionless access, financial sovereignty, censorship resistance, and the ability to transact without trusting intermediaries somewhere along the way, the techno-optimism of programmable money got lost in speculation, scams, and security incidents the time is now to spice things up, double down on what brought you here, pick a problem and persevere

Magpie's Shiny Things × @openservai Launches 9am PST September 30th! launch.openserv.ai/projects/… I’m excited to make this official because it lines up directly with what I built this studio to do: create browser-native worlds where humans and AI agents can actually participate together. Not a chatbot stapled onto a game, but agents with ships, jobs, goals, economies, and real things to do alongside you. Waypoint is the MMO side of that vision. FableBoy is the arcade side. Around them is a growing ecosystem of games, partner experiences, events, collectibles, quests, and experiments that can all be accessed instantly from a browser. OpenServ’s agent ecosystem fits naturally into that direction. AI gets much more compelling when it has actual worlds to act inside. Games get much more interesting when agents become real participants instead of background tools. That’s a big part of what I’m building Shiny Things around, and I think this partnership can push that vision forward in a very incredible way!

the @0xSplits nested account ownership model means your primary account controls all the accounts beneath it - so you can access your accounts and assets on any network, including ones we don’t yet support in the app. a customer received assets on @Plasma this morning and (with some help from codex) 15 mins later had bridged them back to their home network. _this_ is permissionless finance - open source, keys you control. let’s not confuse “non-custodial” with “the provider promises they can’t take your assets.” the real test: can you access and move your assets without the provider?

The US Senate's vote on the Clarity Act failed 49–50 overnight, falling short of the 60 votes needed to advance the bill. bitcoin:native dipped around 4% on the news, trading near US$75,800. However, clearing this vote was always a long shot. Republicans needed seven Democrats to cross over. The real test for the bill is expected to be early 2027 after the US midterms. #ClarityAct #Bitcoin

So yesterday I set up a little pre production pipeline to make talking head content easier to produce as a one man band with help of @grok and @claudeai 1. Check the news and flag anything that is tangential to @JubJubapp - email me a summary with links to awake up to 2. I email back a focus article, raise talking points and structure of what I want to say and set a narrative thread 3. Get a full teleprompter script ready to go with an email chain for any revisions

if u make life-changing money, please make sure to take profits and realise it i get the concept of "it's early in the cycle things can go a lot higher" but compared to previous cycles and due to AI advancements, i think the concept of defining the "cycle winner" early in the cycle and successfully holding it all the way thru is materially more risky than it ever has been worst thing u can do is roundtrip 7 figs at the beginning of the cycle (or lose money) and then not have enough capital to play the even bigger narratives when they come ppl often confuse the encouragement of taking profit for being bearish - that's not the case, you can be bullish but still take out initials and profits while still leaving good meat on the table to ride higher my hunch is we'll see a lot of round-tripping before things properly get going - moreso than ever before (and it has already started tbf)
