Thank goodness for King Charles. Considering the deep peril faced by people & Nature it’s encouraging that at least one world leader is articulating a fit for purpose perspective. His words galvanised action in Paris in 2015 & hopefully will again now. youtube.com/watch?v=8aPjcdpz…

Cllr @MikeSRigby: “By catching the bus, you can make a difference to the climate, to our environment and save money and wear and tear on your car. Now it’s just £1 for any single journey in Taunton it really does make sense to ‘Bus It’.” Here's the Taunton Fare Zone Map! ⤵️

Incredible moment where Suella Braverman inadvertently admits the absurdity of the UK asylum system.

Bogs not bags! 📢 Today, the UK Government has announced that there will be a TOTAL BAN on the sale of bagged peat compost. We’ve been fighting for this since 1990, and it is a vital first step in the protection of our peatlands! #SomersetWT #BogsNotBags @g_stokes18 @SWTsteve

Yes the opportunity (and it was realistic) to get ahead of the curve was spectacularly lost. We can and should do this now as Priority No1.
