I kept closing my MacBook while Claude Code was still working. Every time, the work just stopped. macOS sleeps the second the lid closes, and the keep-awake apps I tried only stop idle sleep. So I made Double Shot ☕ A tiny menu bar app that keeps your Mac awake while your AI agents work, even with the lid closed. It knows when Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI or Cursor are actually working, not just open. Background runs like claude -p count until they're done. When everything goes quiet, your Mac sleeps like normal again. It also looks after the Mac in your bag. It turns the screen off, switches on Low Power Mode, stops if it gets warm, and puts the Mac to sleep when the work is done. You can still use it the simple way too: keep the Mac awake for 30 minutes, or until you turn it off. The panel is a little espresso glass, you pour time in and watch it drain.
