American Nazi's once summer camps on Long Island, NY. After Camp Siegfried was closed, it was turned into German whites only housing. From the 1930s..until 2017 when the NY AG finally shut it.
At one point you could walk to the community hall on Adolf Hitler St.

The retreat had a clubhouse with Nazi insignia and swastika gardens.
In 2017, the NY Attorney General stepped in and required changes to comply with fair housing laws and modify the bylaws.

In 1938, the NYT reported the German Day celebration at Camp Siegfried attracted 40,000 attendees where 2,000 uniformed stormtroopers kept order.
In the 1930s, the US had Nazi retreats and Youth camps for young Americans.
One camp was on Long Island, NY where you could walk down Hitler Street.
Before it was shut down, the area converted to a residential community for German / Whites Only.
That lasted until 2017.
