@zoesaldana is a hero and champion for dyslexia. To put herself out there, and expose something so personal, took a lot of guts. Thank you for that.
Dyslexia is a neurobiological disorder that affects phonological processing and word retrieval. I know that’s a mouthful but there is power in knowledge. While dyslexics struggle with reading, and word retrieval, the way their brain is wired, they actually have an advantage in creativity and thinking “outside the box.” At my daughter’s school, they refer to dyslexia as their “super power.” Not unlike @zoesaldana in The Avengers.
The problem is, the majority of cases are not diagnosed, the children do not get the proper treatment, and that super power is never realized. 20% of school aged children have dyslexia, but only 4% are diagnosed. That’s a LOT of untapped potential out there.
It’s possible many people reading this post are dyslexic and don’t realize it.
Notable dyslexics include:
Albert Einstein
Michael Faraday
Steven Spielberg
Loenoardo da Vinci
F. Scott Fitzgerald
George Washington
Nelson Rockefeller
King Carl XVI Gustaf
Imagine what the world would be like without their contributions.
Please spread the word.

🚨 Dyslexia & The Education System: A Mismatch 🚨
1️⃣ 1 in 5 students has dyslexia, yet most schools rely on outdated, one-size-fits-all methods.
2️⃣ Standardized testing & rote memorization fail dyslexic learners, who thrive with multisensory, phonics-based instruction.
3️⃣ Many teachers aren’t trained to recognize or support dyslexic students, leading to mislabeling as "lazy" or "slow."
4️⃣ Early intervention changes lives, yet schools often delay diagnosis until a child is already struggling.
5️⃣ Dyslexic minds excel in creativity, problem-solving & innovation—but only if given the right tools.
📢 Education must evolve. Literacy is a right, not a privilege.
#DyslexiaAwareness #EducationReform #Neurodiversity #LiteracyForAll
Dyslexia isn’t a weakness. It’s a different way of thinking—a superpower. 💡🔥
Einstein, Da Vinci, and Steve Jobs were all dyslexic. The world needs more minds like theirs.
Let’s change the narrative. Let’s build a future where dyslexia is understood, not stigmatized.

Decentralized Finance (DeFi) solves 5 key problems with the traditional centralized financial system.
And since it costs the same to service someone with $100 or $100 million, it will eventually replace all centralized financial structure. We all follow the path of least resistance.
5 problems it solves:
1. Centralized control-hinders competition, and makes for higher fees for the end user. The 4 largest banks control roughly 50% of all insured depostits.
2. Limited Access-1.7billion people across the world are unbanked.
3. Inefficiency -makes for higher fees and slower transfers, etc
4. Lack of Interoperability-inter institutional transfers are difficult.
5. Opacity-Bank customers have very little info on the health of their financial institutions and are forced to have faith in the limited government protection.

“20 percent of children are dyslexic. Contrast this with the approximately 4 percent of children currently diagnosed as dyslexic and it is obvious that schools are failing to diagnose the great majority of dyslexic students, children who could be helped. This constitutes one of the great tragedies in American education in the twenty-first century.” Sally Shaywitz, MD in Overcoming Dyslexia. Obviously not only a tragedy in the US, but across the globe.

“The mental function that causes dyslexia is a gift in the truest sense of the word: a natural ability, a talent. It is something special that enhances the individual.
Dyslexics don’t all develop the same gifts, but they do have certain mental functions in common. Here are the basic abilities all dyslexics share:
1. They can utilize the brain’s ability to alter and create perceptions (the primary ability).
2. They are highly aware of the environment.
3. They are more curious than average.
4. They think mainly in pictures instead of words.
5. They are highly intuitive and insightful.
6. They think and perceive multidimensionally (using all the senses).
7. They can experience thought as reality.
8. They have vivid imaginations.
These eight basic abilities, if not suppressed, invalidated or destroyed by parents or the educational process, will result in two characteristics: higher-than-normal intelligence and extraordinary creative abilities.
From these the true gift of dyslexia can emerge—the gift of mastery.
The gift of mastery develops in many ways and in many areas.
For Albert Einstein, it was physics;
for Walt Disney, it was art;
for Greg Louganis, it was athletic prowess.”
