Under #SpecialCampaign6, 116 lakh square feet of space has been freed as of 19th October, 2026, through the clearance of obsolete materials and scrap, along with systematic reviews of office premises. These efforts are enabling better utilisation of available space, improved workplace organisation and more efficient management of government resources.

A delegation of the "Armed Forces Headquarters (AFHQ) Association" called on to express appreciation for timely promotions being undertaken by the Department of Personnel &Training #DoPT, as well as for the opportunity provided by the Ministry to employee associations to present their service-related concerns regularly from time to time.
Assured them that they are always welcome to offer their inputs to DoPT, because our primary purpose is to provide ease of working in the offices for better governance. The delegation members also appreciated the sensitivity with which they have been heard, ever since PM Sh @narendramodi ji took over.

Participated in e-waste disposal activity at the Department of Personnel & Training #DoPT headquarters under #Special_Swachhata_Campaign 6.0 at Kartavya Bhawan. The entire team of officers as well as rest of the staff, let by Secretary DoPT Smt Rachna Shah, joined the exercise.
e-Items disposed today included 152 desktops, 35 printers, 8 scanners, 3 photocopier machines, 59 UPS units, 52 air conditioners, 4 television sets, 5 refrigerators,17 water dispensers, 217 miscellaneous items etc, with base price of Rs 9 lakh.
During the ongoing month-long campaign from Gandhi Jayanti Oct 2 to Patel Jayanti Oct 31, undertaken in response to a call by PM Sh @narendramodi ji, approximately ₹490 crore has already been generated through the disposal of scrap within the first 15–17 days. The figure is likely to be more than double by October 31. GeM Portal has been adopted for the disposal process.
Digital platforms are strengthening the way government personnel systems function, from service-related processes and professional learning to performance appraisal. Through e-HRMS 2.0, iGOT Karmayogi and SPARROW, @DoPTGoI continues to support technology-enabled personnel management, capacity building and administrative efficiency.

As part of #SpecialCampaign6, Hon’ble Union Minister of State (PP) @DrJitendraSingh participated in an e-waste disposal and Swachhata activity at Kartavya Bhawan-3 today, in the august presence of Secretary, DoPT, Smt. Rachna Shah, and other officers and officials.
The Campaign has generated approximately ₹490 crore in revenue for the Government within the first 16 to 17 days through the disposal of scrap, including electronic waste. The adoption of the GeM portal has streamlined the disposal process, enabling better value realisation from discarded assets and promoting resource optimisation and sustainable waste management.

Transforming Training Institutes, Strengthening Governance
Lucknow will host the third regional workshop of Sādhana Śhrinkhla 2026 on 23–24 October, bringing together 8 States and 4 Union Territories of the Northern Region to advance the transformation of Government Training Institutes under Mission Karmayogi.
The workshop will be inaugurated by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Yogi Adityanath, in the august presence of Hon’ble Union Minister of State (PP) @DrJitendraSingh.
The deliberations will focus on competency-driven learning, institutional excellence, digital transformation and AI-enabled capacity building, with the aim of building future-ready civil servants and strengthening citizen-centric governance towards Viksit Bharat 2047.
