I remember seeing people saying they didnt like the addition of the jump button to this remake, cuz the game wasnt designed with it in mind.
However there was a jump button early in development, but thats not the reason it was added.
The real reason I think is because ->
Just to set everyone's expectations heading into launch: Ocarina of Time is a faithful remake. You won't find a hidden Master Quest or some mystical Light Temple. It's Ocarina of Time through and through. And Aonuma said it yesterday - he was surprised the young devs didn't want to change more and add more. They could have. They were directed to do what they like.
They chose to stay mostly faithful. It's not 1:1 and there is some new things and a differences are abundant if you're very detail oriented.
But, it is a faithful remake. It is not trying to be more than what Ocarina of Time already is. It's just enhancing what's there, or at least modernizing it.
This isn't a review, I have not played it myself. I just know some who have, and got enough info to make sure to relay to people that you should be going in expecting this to be Ocarina of Time. Not Ocarina of Time+DLC.
A lot of people just refuse to admit that P3R was a bad remake just cuz its the only version they have played.
Those who played other versions immediately could tell something was off and the ost was inferior.
Looks AI generated, so knowing atlus and their lazy ass it might actually be real.
