Season 2 starts off strong... with aliens!!! Listen to the episode about #Unacknowledged to hear Ariel & Hali talk all the “conspiracy theoracies.” But mostly, aliens. 👽

Maybe you think that’s all you need to know, but it’s barely the beginning. Some #podcastpals suggested we talk #Tickled, and y’all, THIS IS THE CRAZY DOCUMENTARY CONTENT WE ARE HERE FOR!!!

This documentary by #ChelseaHandler gives a short and shallow take on racism & white privilege in America. How deep can you get in just over an hour? 🤷🏻♀️
*If you only watch one doc about racism, skip this one and watch the 13th instead.
#whiteprivilege #blacklivesmatter
“Not a documentary,” Hali repeats thru ep 22 as she & Ariel talk #ITonya.⛸ It was a special request, & your hosts have a blast discussing this dramatized look into the life of figure skater #TonyaHarding & it’s depiction of the incident & fallout they remember from childhood.
In episode 21, Hali & Ariel welcome good friend and all around badass Knoc to talk about Ava DuVernay’s documentary, 13th. It’s a rough ride y’all. But also, watch this documentary; it’s important. And in case anyone forgot without it all over your newsfeed, #blacklivesmatter!
We’re requesting #JusticeForBreonnaTaylor and tagging six people we hope will do the same.

Hali & Ariel agree that Cowspiracy isn’t the best doc they’ve seen, but they found the info within surprising & important for its global implications. Listen to ep 20 to hear them contemplate some positive changes & discuss the details of Cowspiracy: the Sustainability Secret.
Yea... Cowspiracy was eye opening. 🐮👀🤣😭 Quite the dichotomy, indeed.

🎪Circus of Books📚
No circus, and not exactly the kind of books you’d expect, but a great doc nonetheless. Listen to Hali & Ariel discuss the jaw-dropping tale of Karen & Barry Mason, former #CircusofBooks owners, and parents to the #documentary filmmaker herself, in episode 19.
Episode 18
Invisible Essence: The Little Prince
The classic tale of The Little Prince has been a favorite of your hosts since childhood, & they agree that this 2018 documentary does justice to the author, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, & the iconic story & characters he created.
"It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye." - The Little Prince 👑 🌹
In honor of Episode 18, please enjoy this breathtaking artwork by @venturaartbook. Your hosts love the Dream of the Endless vibes they claim to get from this piece. Anyone else?
