The recent security incidents involving Bybit, Bitget, and now Binance should serve as a wake-up call for every leader in the crypto industry.
Security should never be an area of commercial competition. It is a shared responsibility to protect our customers and the entire industry.
Over the past decade, major crypto exchanges have made significant progress in protecting private keys. We have seen relatively few incidents involving direct private key compromises in recent years. So far, we have not seen conclusive evidence that Binance’s hot wallet private key was leaked. The greater concern may lie in vulnerabilities in access controls and wallet management systems.
Companies that have never experienced a major security incident should not assume they are inherently safer or immune to attacks.
At OKX, we have built multiple layers of sophisticated security protection and maintained a strong security track record over the past decade. But we also recognize that no system is absolutely secure. We must remain humble, vigilant, and constantly challenge our own security assumptions.
A major security breach at any exchange undermines trust in the entire crypto industry, ultimately hurting every company and every customer.
I believe CEOs across the industry need to come together, just as we did during the Bitcoin fork crisis in 2017, to establish stronger industry-wide security standards and coordinated response mechanisms.
For example, transfers and settlements between verified exchanges could be processed in real time, while large withdrawals to unknown or unverified addresses, as well as transactions granting smart contract permissions, should be subject to additional verification and appropriate security delays.
Crucially, these safeguards should be enforced at the cryptographic signing layer, rather than relying solely on application-level controls. Even if an attacker compromises an exchange’s wallet management system, they should not be able to bypass these fundamental security restrictions.
We should also establish industry-wide mechanisms for real-time security incident notifications, coordinated monitoring of suspicious funds, and rapid responses to potential attacks. Exchanges, stablecoin issuers, and other major industry participants should work together to enable the rapid, lawful temporary freezing of suspected stolen assets when necessary.
We should also work together to accelerate the industry’s transition to quantum-resistant cryptography and strengthen our defenses against emerging AI-powered security threats. These are long-term challenges that no single company can solve alone, and they require coordinated research, shared standards, and collective action across the industry.
Security is everyone’s responsibility. No company can protect the future of crypto alone.
自己选出来的总统,跪着也要等他走完总统任期
Trump has made so much money over the past year that even if you added up the net worth of every president America has ever had, it still wouldn’t come close.
But do you know where this money came from? Corruption and insider trading, both of which this guy is allegedly engaging in right out in the open.
Look at the pattern.
On June 18, Trump reportedly bought around half a million dollars’ worth of Boeing stock ($BA). On that same day, the US Navy awarded Boeing a contract worth $880 million.
Then Trump invested in SpaceX ($SPCX), and shortly afterwards, NASA awarded SpaceX a contract worth around $400 million.
And this isn’t something new. We’ve been seeing a similar pattern during the war as well.
For example, when Trump announced a ceasefire with Iran on April 7, he sold his ExxonMobil stock ($XOM). The very next day, ExxonMobil’s stock fell by 6.5%.
In fact, Trump made more than 1,000 trades in June alone, and every single one of them benefited some company or another. The complete list is in the comment section. You can check it out later.
But do you know what’s even more shocking?
All of this is legal in America.
Compare that with a dictatorship, where these kinds of things happen behind closed doors. Ordinary Americans can’t do much about it because the law that prevents government officials from engaging in such conflicts of interest doesn’t even apply to their own president.
Isn’t that ironic?
卧槽,还真有,dydx 关停了,这个逃生通道可以把资金提出
just found some money i completely forgot about
a decent chance you have crypto sitting somewhere you forgot existed: hiddenfunds.xyz/
from pending bridge claims, uncollected staking, forgotten rewards, and funds stranded on dead chains etc

Accused Chinese Agent Posed in a Bugatti Tied to Prince Group's Alleged Enforcer
A California realtor charged with acting as an agent of the Chinese government posted a 2024 photo of herself behind the wheel of a Bugatti Chiron she called her friend's car. The car has been traced to Chen Sokly, the alleged enforcer for Chen Zhi's Prince Group. He's been identified as the unnamed co-conspirator U.S. prosecutors say bought a $3 million yacht to bribe a foreign official.
Wanying "Heather" Zhang was charged this month after the FBI allegedly caught her surveilling the Taiwanese president's son in Seattle last year. Her travel companion, Fatai Miao, flew to China on a one-way ticket days before the FBI searched his home, and his business partner co-manages a California company with a Sokly-controlled firm.
