There are three things that move crypto prices: 1. adoption 2. global economic conditions 3. market manipulation 1. Is the slow and gradual rise or fall in relation to usage, tied to the utility of a currency. This is the true measure of value, it cannot be manipulated, it can only be advanced by strong community involvement in promoting daily usage. 2. Nobody can control who is going to war with who, or when the next pandemic comes. Like the tides of the ocean, these things happen on broader scales than months. 3. This is where 95% of the fluctuations come from, entirely manufactured by the exchanges that profit from buy and sell action. By holding your money on an exchange you give your liquidity to empower these systems that exist to take your money through fear. They thrive by using your money to artificially dump the market so you panic sell, then they sell again when you want to buy back in, sucker. Literally any 'crypto' news outlet telling you about bear and bull markets, is spreading FUD aimed at generating these pump and dump conditions so they can take more profits. 1 & 3 are where YOU have power to act: 1 ADPOTION can be promoted through grass roots activity, asking local shops to accept Dogecoin for payment.. over time Dogecoin gains utility and value. 3 MANIPULATION can be DEFUNDED when YOU self-custody your crypto. DEFUND EXCHANGES by taking your money off their table.
