From Bernie Bogenrief, former Hennepin County Sheriff's Deputy: While I was employed by the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office as a detective, I had the privilege of being assigned to the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office to work with Diane Krenz on a large scale identity theft case. In my experience Diane’s concern for the victims was unparalleled. Her open minded attitude toward lawful investigative avenues made it very easy to work with her. Her work on this case, with myriad police agencies, retailers, victims, and her skills as a trial attorney brought this case to its successful conclusion. Because of Diane’s skill as a litigator and her interpersonal skills, this conviction of a career criminal resulted in the longest sentence in a non-violent crime in Minnesota history. Her work on this case was no exception. It simply demonstrates her attention to her cases. I can see no better choice for Hennepin County Attorney than Diane Krenz! #ReadyOnDayOne
