Bleach, 2004–2026. 22 years. One of the pillar series of my life. I’ll never forget the first time I heard “Number One.” Sometimes you just know you’re watching something special something that hits you deep in your soul. After Dragon Ball GT ended I felt empty. I was getting older and something was missing. Then Naruto and Bleach showed up at the perfect time. They became the backbone of my teen years. The Big Three era was special, and I have nothing but good memories watching Bleach with my cousin. When the anime ended in 2012 it hurt. I kept searching for any news, any new episode. It became a meme how Bleach never got real closure. Fans of other shows talked so much shit for years. Then 2022 came. After COVID, after all the bad times, a series we thought was gone forever came back like a storm. The Thousand-Year Blood War has been everything young me could have wanted and more. Kubo, thank you for this series for making a country kid dream of being a Soul Reaper. I hope the Hell Arc gets adapted too. But if this is where the ride ends, I’ll forever be grateful for everything Bleach has given me. A whole new generation of fans has been born, and now we can all feel like we’re Number One.
