“Harry Potter” star Paapa Essiedu says he “wouldn’t have taken this job on” if he couldn’t handle the Snape casting backlash:
“Obviously, my priority is the work. I wouldn’t take this job on [otherwise], but I walk into it with open eyes. I understand the broad spectrum of what the reaction to what we’re doing means, and I take that mantle on with an open and full heart. I’ve also been blown away by a lot of the support and well-wishes and excitement.”

When it comes to the internet’s reaction of Paapa Essiedu being cast as Severus Snape, he says he’s focus is on bringing humanity and complexity to the character.
“I concentrate on the job at hand, which is to give as much humanity, as much depth, dimensions, layers, complexity to a character that has a lot of that,” he said at the TIME100 Next red carpet Thursday night.

El nuevo Hogwarts mantiene una estructura similar al original, pero su exterior parece mucho más gótico. ¿Qué os parece? A mi me encanta🥹 #HarryPotterHBO
