It's the people we meet in our business that make us feel so fortunate. This is Sean Johnson, the former owner of the Nordhavn 64 "Kapowai". He has logged over 40k miles on Kapowai including 2 trans-Atlantic crossings and a Pacific Crossing. He is also a retired professional mariner who operated vessels moving deep ocean drilling rigs, handling the anchors in depths of thousands of feet. He is also just plain nice. I have enjoyed the process of helping him sell Kapowai, and will miss our after dinner conversations. Having lost his wife and cruising partner a few years ago, he is on to other forms of exploration. Being in the presence of an accomplished professional mariner is a humbling experience. Sean is certainly one of those people.
