Doch. Hat Brian Kemp gemacht. Der Mann ist Republikaner (!). Und Gouverneur (!) von Georgia. Er blieb Trumps Shitshow in seinem Bundesstaat aus Protest gegen dessen versuchte Wahlmanipulation 2020 fern.
Be Brian, not Gernot!
.@POTUS: "Audi is going to build one of the largest plants — they're going to make 200,000 cars a year. They're closing up in Mexico and Canada; they're coming into our country with a brand new, gorgeous plant right in Georgia."

The best thread I’ve read one what is really going on with disruptions to Starshield and Starlink. Thank you @MassDara .
It’s not completely clear if Starshield speeds have been fully restored yet for the Ukrainian military, after being throttled for the last week. A brief thread on how speed throttling impacts Ukrainian operations and battlefield dynamics. /1 nytimes.com/2026/10/21/world…

Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff to Vladimir Putin today: “You talk so much about Trump being a humanitarian, you are a humanitarian also, sir. And I salute that. I commend you.”

For those of you not from DC - this means runners, bicyclists, families, sightseers would all be displaced from Hains Point - so that a high-end golf course could be built minutes from the U.S. Capitol and White House.
This proposed plan is absolutely unacceptable.
Here’s what the plan actually does: 36 holes of public golf cut to 18. No more mini golf. No more park. More running / cycling road. No more playground. No more introductory course. Nobody has said a word about the Cherry blossoms.
Who is this actually for? Not the kid learning to golf. Not the family in a walk. Not the birders.
This was never about the public. It’s for the elitists who want a private showcase, and one man’s ego.
