The reality is that Tesla and SpaceX made so many employees wealthy a lot of them don’t need to work. Can’t keep up with the grind.

There are efficiency improvements coming that will allow for a 40kWh Cybercab pack. We will make this in liquid silver, so the colors are not too monotonous.
The biggest thing most people fail to understand is that there are a very limited number of smart, dedicated people! They can only do so many things.
If we have to maintain a complex production line, supply chain and allocate engineering for Cybertruck, we can’t use those people or factory space and machinery for scaling Cybercab, which is the vehicle that will PROFOUNDLY transform the world of terrestrial transport!
Has anyone successfully outsourced a majority of their house and yard maintenance/projects?
What are you outsourcing versus doing yourself?
The interesting difference in changes in the auto industry is there are so many auto companies, unlike the phone OS business, which ended up being Apple and Android/Google. Apple launched the rectangle iPhone and everyone followed. Not the case with Tesla.
General Motors says it will not adopt a vision-only approach to autonomous driving, saying that dropping radar is a "weird religious stance that ignores physics."
"If you scale back to vision-only, physics suggests you’ll be in trouble in certain situations. Radar is so cheap that dropping it doesn’t make sense—dropping it is a weird religious stance that ignores physics," GM Chief Product Officer Sterling Anderson said.
GM says it plans to launch an autonomous driving feature for the highway by 2028.

Lesson: always buy your name's domain name.
My grandmother has been in a place for 18 years. It's more of a retirement community though where she transitions from independent to assisted to end of life.
Large buy in price and varying monthly cost. Not all these places are the same.
When people talk about assisted living it's clear that they're imagining basically healthy -- just older -- people living full lives in managed spaces. To be fair, this is also how it's depicted in TV and movies.
This is not what nursing homes are actually like, to state the obvious.
Healthy, functioning people do not typically enter nursing facilities to live for long stretches. They live alone or with family.
The people in nursing home typically require significant monitoring and care and by the time it comes to that, what happens is that they spend down their assets until Medicaid takes over, and you're thankful for it, because they require more care than you could possibly give.
This is just the reality of the situation.
Who's going to fix plane boarding and deboarding?
What a waste of human time affecting billions of person flights every year.

Went to a nice restaurant last night. $9 for the kids menu for a basic burger, mac and cheese, or tacos and a small side. I'm old enough to remember when it was $9 for an amazing burger in year 2000. 🍔
