@DougHerbert had his fair share of accidents behind the wheel of a Top Fuel Dragster Herbert, kept things as under control as possible when his car lost the rear tire crossing the finish line at the 1992 Slick 50 Nationals in Houston, Tx (footage via. #NHRA) #EverythingNITRO

In January 2008, NHRA drag racing star @DougHerbert got the phone call every parent fears. His two sons, Jon and James, had been in a car accident. Neither survived. See how that father turned tragedy into a teachable movement with @PutOnTheBRAKES ow.ly/aFip50Lep2t

You've likely heard of the '100 Deadly Days of Summer' when fatal teenage car crashes increase dramatically. How can we prevent that? We asked @DougHerbert for this week's episode of #SafetyFirst. >> New episodes drop every Monday on @WBTV_News Now. << wbtv.com/video/2022/07/18/th…

This teenage driving course could save lives

More deadly teenage car crashes happen during a 100-day period during summer. This episode of Safety First looks at how B.R.A.K.E.S. is addressing problems.
