The final numbers will drop today for both Game 1 and Game 2, but, on FOX, Rays-Brewers Game 1 is projected to outperform all World Series Game 1’s from 2023, 2022, 2021 and 2020, up +26% from ARI-TEX in 2023.
Whoopsies!
The crew unanimously picks the Rays for Game 3!
@AROD: Rays 7-4
@davidortiz: Rays 6-3
@derekjeter: Rays 6-4
@MLBONFOX
If Jackson Churio gets one more hit tonight, he’ll join Paul Molitor & Albert Pujols as the only players to collect 5 hits in a single #WorldSeries game.
What’s with the Rays wearing throwback unis for the postseason? Usually MLB is pretty buttoned up about uniforms in October.
And still the only Brewers home run of the World Series is off of the bat of Sal Frelick. Just like we had all thought.

Yelich wins the replay challenge, but @nfl refs have ruled him out for roughing the fielder. 😜😂🏈⚾️ Too soon?

As a former TV guy, I find it interesting that the Fox broadcast says little about the thousands of loud, Brewers fans at the Trop. And that it doesn’t have a live camera at Am Fam, where 31,000 fans are watching the game on a big screen. Missed opportunity for a great visual.

On site to support the Brew Crew!! @Brewers
My god…this is the worst “explanation” of truly atrocious officiating I’ve ever heard. We all love the @nfl, but the officiating has been world-class awful this season.
Officials stop the clock and confer with Jared Goff, ostensibly to ask him if he would like to have another +15 for roughing.
What is Brenton Cox supposed to do, defy gravity to avoid being blocked intro the quarterback? Yet another awful, terrible, mind-blowingly absurd flag for breathing on the passer. My goodness, @nfl
