ようやく目標の一つだった、酒井ゆうじさんの 出現シリーズ全18作品をギャラリーに展示することができました。 18作品が一堂に揃っている光景はなかなか目にすることがないので、実際に展示するとかなりの迫力です。 ずっと実現したかった光景なので、こうして形にできたのは感慨深いです。 #酒井ゆうじ

ビオランテヘッドの追加画像。 スーツに合わせてわざと牙を汚く塗ったり、顔の模様はほぼ筆塗りで仕上げたり結構こだわりました…！ パープルが強いのは劇中の印象からの僕の好みです。

To capture the film stills via hand-brushing, I used a multi-color base (R/Y/B/G) under black, plus blue-gray/brown dust. Then Wet-blended the dorsal plates with semi-gloss tips; washed the claws for a muddy sheen according to the screenshots.

Sakai Yuji 30cm Godzilla 1989 Osaka Landing The very start of 30cm Heisei line, also a favorite of mine. This kit balances fidelity with modern reinterpretation: it preserves the suit's tight stance and violin silhouette, while refining the proportions of each body part.

50cm Biogoji Advancing by @kitora_zoukei9 This massive kit captures its lumbering weight and fierce face, with the sculpt enhancing its immense sense of scale. I commissioned the painter GU Studio to craft the eyes using multi-layered gradients for biological, iris-like details.

It is actually worse than the release from ten years ago—the eyes back then used smooth decals, not sloppy, crooked hand painting this time.

Almost done! After adjusting the color of dorsal fins, the toes’ color now feels mismatched instead. But I ran out of paint, so I’ll leave it here for now.

The seamless work on the neck is done. Next is painting the dorsal fin. Having a bit of a headache over how to paint a gradient—I gave it a try, and it's nowhere near the effect I want¯_(ツ)_/¯.
