Spent some time chatting with @Todaysparent about your 1st period postpartum and what warning signs to look out for! Thanks to @birdandbeco for coordinating this chat!
Why the first period after baby can be longer than seven days, how the postpartum period differs from a regular period, and the impact of breastfeeding and bottle-feeding on your menstrual cycle.

Happy to be part of this clinical practice article. Important reminder that fetal movements matter and counting kicks can help determine when seek help!
In the absence of effective screening for cord vulnerability with ultrasonography, clinicians and patients rely on counting fetal movements, where a window of opportunity may exist to prevent fetal demise arising from inadequate oxygenation.

Abortion is not just health care, it is a human right. Beyond infringing on bodily autonomy, there are conditions in pregnancy that result in death without safe abortion care. This is a calling for all in medicine to stand on the side of justice nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NE…
A huge step back for humanity. Not what the world needs right now, or ever. #Health #reproductiverights #obgyn #politics #wtf

Disheartening yet unsurprising results from @ResidentDoctors survey regarding CBME.
Learning value of EPAs minimal if not negative while concurrently adding stress to the eval process.
Moreover, the onus of completing evaluations is largely placed on learners.
