Stephen, I’ve always admired your positive energy, thoughtful talks and your tenacity in chasing the most important questions in #MASLD. You’ve gone too soon, there was more to do and your legacy will be carried. I will miss your friendship and our exchange of kids pictures 💔
We’ve lost a friend and colleague who has had a monumental impact on MASH. Stephen brought charisma, endless energy, and joy along with deep knowledge and insights in MASH.
He had a magnetic force and we were all better for having been pulled into his orbit.

Thank you @AASLDtweets and @EASLnews for giving us the chance for having a consensus (“a general accord of different parts in affecting a given purpose”) on NAFLD nomenclature. All stakeholders deserve a voice. Efforts done for this cause are very much appreciated 👏🏻👏🏻👇📝
There has been much progress regarding the ongoing discussions over nomenclature for nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). The results will be discussed at a consensus conference planned for July 2022. More information will be available soon. bit.ly/3oSzUkJ
