why a token can go up in value despite most holders losing out
you will have probably come across memecoins going up by 200%, 500% or even more in a short period of time.
but here's something that often gets overlooked.
just because a chart is going up doesn't mean everyone is making a profit.
some people will have bought the token at the bottom of the chart, others will have got in after the largest part of the pumps.
even if the tokens are worth $10,000 on paper, there is a lot more to consider.
liquidity, slippage and time.
the amount you receive may be very different.
understanding how a token will trade is just as important as knowing when to get in.
a green chart does not always mean people are making money.
