ALT I am thrilled to announce that I have accepted the position of the founding Dean at the brand-new Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) School of Medicine! As the inaugural Dean, my purpose is clear: To build a medical school that empowers doctors to lead the changes we need to face the future. With a strong focus on equity, social accountability, and innovation, the vision for a medical school of the future is to place it at the forefront of shaping tomorrow's healthcare landscape. We believe that in order to address the evolving needs of patients and society, we must equip our doctors with the tools, knowledge, and mindset to drive meaningful change that benefits society. The aim will be to engage the community and clinicians to co-develop a School of Medicine that can train physicians to be change agents across healthcare.
