Nothing for FFXIII this year. Nothing for the 15th anniversary. No remaster. No merch. Not even a sketch. Nothing.

Another Duellum season of only one movie scene. No Lightning appearance. (except in a FINE conversation). And we still don't have her concept arts. #DDFF

Getting harder to enjoy these Lightning moments since it's just a FINE conversation and not an actual cutscene.

omg, the XIV team really did oversee this. They remembered Y’shtola’s shoeware collecting tidbit that I believe is mentioned in the first lorebook as far as I remember. It ties into her developing a nice friendship with Lightning, haha

I have a suspicion that the reason Square Enix hasn't remastered Dissidia Duodecim is because despite the fact that the game includes the 1st game, Lightning is the star of the prequel story and the SE of today would never promote and release a game staring her.

The biggest issue I have with this game. Seeing the FF characters interact with each other is what I always look forward to in a new Dissidia. Most of the FINE stories should have been movie scenes. But if SE doesn't want to invest money in this game, then I shouldn't either.

Some FINE stories are so cute that if they were turned into animated scenes, they'd have so much more impact. I find myself imagining some as story scenes and I keep giggling to myself. It's a shame the dev team wasn't given the chance to do more. #DISSIDIA #FinalFantasy #DDFF

All I wanted to do in Duellum was run around the city as Lightning. Do some shopping, get coffee, interact with the other FF characters and then maybe some fighting.

The modern setting is just so easy for Lightning.

They did for some of the characters when Dissidia NT released: blog.playstation.com/2018/01… Why didn't they do the rest of the cast?

New Duellum Season. Only ONE story scene. Lightning is not in it. She has not been in a scene since season 4. And her Grav-con Unit ability will get nerfed later. #DDFF
