Americas need to stop bragging about their GDP/capita when citizens die of curable diseases because they don’t have access to healthcare. There are 72 countries where that young man wouldn’t just live— he’d live without the crushing debt of a cancer diagnosis in the USA.
Putnam County, Florida….a young man featured in this video works at Walmart and is likely going to die because he does not have health insurance so he can be treated for a cancer that is 100% treatable. Are we great yet?

I’m speaking out of frustration here because there are so many Americans who refuse to believe they can have what most of the world already does. You can and it should be the primary voting issue for red states too, not a ´radical left’ pipe dream.

How the fuck is the president’s unqualified golf buddy and son in law vs managing the most important diplomatic job of the decade? Seriously. They’ve been in over their head since the start and gotten people killed. WTF is going on and does the USA have a Congress?
Content of Tense Conversation Between Budanov and Trump's Team Revealed Negotiations between the Ukrainian delegation and Donald Trump's special envoys in Miami, as reported by Le Monde, escalated into a conflict. According to the publication, during a three-hour meeting at the Shell Bay golf club, Steve Witkoff "with irritation" demanded that Kyrylo Budanov, head of Zelenskyy's office, cease strikes on Russian oil refineries. Budanov, per Le Monde's information, "barely contained his anger" and felt that he was being "treated like a child, trying to teach him how to make money." The Americans presented an ambitious plan for postwar "regional prosperity," which envisioned resuming the transit of Russian oil and gas to Europe through Ukraine, with dividends paid to Kyiv. Budanov was outraged that such a deal would tie Ukraine to Moscow, after which the negotiations broke off. When the meeting resumed, the Americans proposed accepting a deal for supplies of Russian diesel to the United States. The publication's sources noted that they had never seen Ukrainians "so upset and alarmed." Zelenskyy's entourage described the situation as "hopeless," since Trump's envoys "think only about business." 📸: Press service of the President of Ukraine

I analyzed hundreds of tweets from this past weekend and found evidence of two unique disinformation campaigns amplifying Elon Musk’s accusations against Ukraine. One of these campaigns can be traced back to a Russian social media account and one of Putin’s top allies. my latest. (Link 👇)

🚨 FT: Residents of occupied Oleshky seeking evacuation would be taken to Crimea or Russia instead of Ukrainian-controlled territory just across the Dnipro River. This is a terrifying warning sign. Russia is preparing to turn an evacuation into a deportation operation. It will exploit people’s desperation for a propaganda stunt, put them through filtration camps, and forcibly keep them under Russian occupation, where they would remain in grave danger.

Burning civilians alive in an apartment building? Classic behaviour of someone who is serious about peace and not just embarrassing the USA by walking the POTUS around like a puppy. Humiliating.
An apartment building in Kharkiv has been hit. People are trapped inside, Mayor Ihor Terekhov reports. A night-time image shows towering flames and thick smoke. Russia’s attacks on Ukrainian cities turn homes into places people cannot escape. In Kharkiv tonight, the urgent fact is that residents are trapped in a struck building. They need to be reached. The account follows people inside their own home, waiting for a way out.

Jesus… did they trick the Americans into letting them process these 🇺🇦 civilians through filtration camps instead of crossing to the city on the other side of the river? ᵣussia is just going to hold back everyone under 60 and force them into the meat waves or orphan auctions.
My understanding from Ukrainian authorities and those involved, as of now, is that there will likely be no direct evacuation of Oleshky residents from the east bank to the west bank of the Dnipro — which is to say from occupied territory directly to Ukrainian-controlled Kherson.

Please take a moment to watch this and ask what you can do to reverse Trump’s betrayal of allies who counted on America. It starts with voting for a real Congress that checks the executive branch…
On Oct. 19, a Russian strike on a Kharkiv park killed five people, including a 1-year-old girl. @CBSNews obtained photos showing air-defense radars offline that day due to SpaceX’s Starlink restrictions. Alina Spichak walked me through the last steps of her sister Yulia, who died there.

Yksi kansalaisaloitteemme perusteluista. CONCLUSION 🧵(1/2): Putin would have the world, and especially the United States, believe that he is somehow holding back from crushing Ukraine, but that he could do so at any moment of his choosing. The opposite is the case. If Putin had had a way of ending the war quickly, he surely would have used it. The effort to field an army large enough to make virtually no gains is costing Putin a fortune, driving up inflation in Russia, and generating increasing social discontent. Fielding a larger army would cost more with no guarantee of materially changing the situation on the front. That is why Putin is holding back at least for now. ⬇️ Putin has likely recognized the folly of trying to drown Ukraine in Russian blood and has instead opted to try to hammer Ukraine into submission with a strategic bombing campaign. The Russians have secured a temporary advantage in the skies over Ukraine through their jet-powered drones and the shortage of Patriot missiles that can intercept their ballistic missiles. But Ukraine is fielding solutions to defend against the jet-powered drones, and it is hardening and decentralizing its infrastructure to survive the ballistic missile strikes (as well as developing its own ballistic missile interceptors, although that effort will take time). The Russian strikes are currently devastating Ukrainian energy and other infrastructure and imposing a brutal cost on Ukrainian civilians—as Putin intends. But there is no reason to think that this strategic bombing campaign will be any more successful than every other strategic bombing campaign in history—all of which have failed to compel a country holding its own on the battlefield to surrender.
It is unclear whether Putin is lying about Russian gains or being lied to by his own military—or both. Russian military correspondents constantly complain of what they call “beautiful reports” that Russian military units send to higher headquarters, claiming gains they have not made. Ukrainian forces say that they have been able to use the Russian military’s own internal culture of lying to their advantage, luring Russian troops into traps because the Russians think that they are moving through territory they control. Leaked Russian military maps show phantom gains, often matching Putin’s claims. The pervasive lying within the Russian military is a problem for Russian soldiers, but likely an advantage for Putin, as it supports his own efforts to present Russian forces as advancing and winning when, in fact, they are doing neither.

Another note for SpaceX attorneys and PR: There was no need to issue an alert at all. Your own internal data showed a safe 2km pass. But you issued a 400m collision alert anyway. Why? Because the alert itself is the weapon. Issuing it triggered FCC Cond 16, legally freezing ICEYE so it couldn't dodge. STARLINK-35856 didn't use its auto-evasion. It just parked there and kept the false alarm blaring while Russia sprinted in. It wasn't an accident.
SpaceX Blocked A U.S. And NATO Satellite to Assist a Russian Intercept After Crippling Ukraine's Air Defenses The Math Proves the Reality that Musk doesn't want you to see. On Oct 13-14, SpaceX restricted Starshield/Starlink during a 39-missile Russian attack, cutting Ukrainian drone intercepts by 23% and stranding U.S. personnel in Kyiv. Forty-eight hours later (Oct 15), SpaceX blocked U.S.-licensed NRO, Space Force, and NATO radar satellite ICEYE-X36 in orbit so Russia's COSMOS 2612 weapon could intercept it (99.89%-99.98% posterior) Our Model Demonstrates that the Russian intercept of the US/NATO ICEYE X-36 satellite (contemporaneous with the throttling of Starlink) would not have been possible, and almost certainly not been attempted, without SpaceX resources. At a material opportunity cost, Russia sprinted its COSMOS satellite to intercept ICEYE X36. Based on a previous attempt in June during which X36 maneuvered to evade COSMOS, Russia knew that this would be successful only if X36 could not maneuver. On October 15, SpaceX fixed X36 in place by issuing a collision alert for a sub-kilometer approach with its Starlink 35856 when SpaceX's own data shows that the actual distance was 4.8-5.0x as great. SpaceX issued no warning to COSMOS despite the fact that its sprint was far more threatening than the stable X36 orbit. SpaceX did not maneuver its Starlink 35856 satellite to clear the supposed collision risk. How, absent coordination with SpaceX, could Russia have known that SpaceX would take actions that (a) misrepresented the danger posed by X36, and (b) resulted in the fixing of X36 thereby enabling COSMOS's successful intercept? Thus, SpaceX was directly involved in simultaneously compromising Ukraine’s defensive and offensive capabilities. The conjunction of these two events makes innocent explanations untenable. The Pentagon Capture & Iran Round Two Trap: Pentagon CTO Emil Michael who cashed out $7M–$35M from Musk’s inner-circle SpaceX vehicles (M8/Gigafund 0.1 and M6/Valor M33 II) and KQ Partners / xAI (selling xAIfor $5M–$25M three days before taking over CDAO/OSCand 21 days before SpaceX bought xAI, while keeping M8, M6, M9, M10 & Nomadic open) and Pete Hegseth purged rival Anthropic in two hours, surrendered combat command over US drones used to attack Iran to Starlink’s "Terms of Service," and on October 2 named Musk Co-Director of Project Meridian to design the Pentagon's "Future of Warfighting" just as America enters Iran Round Twowith depleted Patriot/THAAD magazines and Russia feeding U.S. warship/aircraft locations to Tehran. SpaceX’s actions in Ukraine raise serious questions about its alignment with US security interests and its reliability as a cornerstone of US defense. These questions are particularly troubling given the effectively irreplaceable position SpaceX has been granted by the Hegseth/Emil Michael Pentagon. $SPCX $TSLA Our full quantitative analysis below w/ @streetwiseprof

And people say MAGA isn’t a white nationalist project? Also, he’s lying… an arab mathematician won the Fields Medal (not “prize” lol), multiple arab people have won Nobel Prizes, and the Wolf Prize as well. Finally, yes, arabs write literature. Wtf is he smoking? 🤣
RFK: "There's five hundred million Arabs in the world. And yet they don't produce science. They don't win the Novel Prize. They don't win the Fields Prize. They don't win the Wolf Prize. They don't produce literature."

Stunning and brave, the invertebrate POTUS saved the ᵣussian war effort by dumping cash in their lap, stealing interceptors, throttling Starshield, and cutting ballistics early warning from the victims of ᵣussia’s genocide. Stop resisting, he screamed as he killed 🇺🇦 civilians.
Ukrainian drones struck a chemical plant in Russia, damaging the country's largest titanium production facility. 🇷🇺 🇺🇦 Both sides can inflict extraordinary damage on each other, and neither side can win. Two million military casualties, 30,000 Russians lost per month against recruitment of 27,000, Ukrainian civilians hit on 22 out of 30 days in September. Continuing to fund a war where both sides are bleeding out at catastrophic rates with no path to a decisive outcome is not supporting Ukraine, it is sentencing Ukrainians to die for a stalemate. President Trump understands that, and history will record that he was the one who acted on it while everyone else was funding a war that can't be won.

Elon Musk says he wants to save russian conscripts. Then he should understand how the russian empire produces them. russia crushed Chechnya. Now Chechen men are threatened, kidnapped and forced to fight russia's next war. russia occupied Crimea. Now Crimeans are conscripted into the russian army. russia occupied Donbas. Then Ukrainian men were rounded up and forced to fight against their own country. The Buryats, an indigenous people absorbed into the russian empire centuries ago, are dying disproportionately in russia's war against Ukraine. Even in Abkhazia, under russian military influence, young men with russian citizenship face the threat of conscription. This is how empires work. They conquer territories, subjugate their populations, turn them into military manpower, and use that manpower to conquer the next territory. The cycle repeats. Every new russian conquest creates another population that can be exploited for the next war. If Elon Musk genuinely wants to save russian conscripts, he should focus on stopping the imperial expansion that keeps producing them. Because the people russia conquers today become the soldiers it sends to conquer someone else tomorrow.
