$ASTS Love all the TA analysts and bears patting themselves on the back for “calling” the selloff. Meanwhile, the entire sector, speculative stocks, and thousands of others are down 50% or more.
Almost as tiresome as the bulls posting TA and historical probabilities every day like they mean a damn thing.
Predicting a move isn’t impressive when you conveniently ignore all the predictions that were wrong.
Even a broken clock is right twice a day.
Welcome to the new stock cowboy $ASTS
Everybody retweeting this clown, why? Cause he said something positive about $ASTS?????? So Spacemob is retweeting like he’s credible now? A favorable opinion doesn't magically turn a scumbag into someone worth listening to. Embarrassing.
Let me clarify why I changed my position on AST SpaceMobile.
It started when the DT Telecom CEO publicly called on MNO CEOs to block SpaceX from securing MVNO deals.
I've been calling for the @FCC @BrendanCarrFCC and @JusticeATR to step in and establish regulatory protections to ensure fair competition for MVNOs for some time now and that simply hasn't
I believe the logical next move for MNOs is to build or acquire a credible alternative to SpaceX to put investor's fears aside and to stop the volatility in there Share price every time spaceX hints at them building a mobile network😀
And that's where for me AST comes in.
I could be wrong, but I believe the MNOs will ultimately look to secure AST, either through the joint venture they announced, a strategic acquisition, by a form of global consortium why because thats what I would do.
the last thing the world's largest mobile operators should want is to become dependent on a single satellite provider that could ultimately become their biggest competitor.
To be clear I haven't changed my view on AST's technology or its going it alone chances of success I still consider huge challenges for them. I've changed my view on its strategic value.
And sometimes strategic value is worth a hell of a lot more than the business itself.
Now this is not investment advice just my personal veiw.
$ASTS we’re not alone. That’s nuts.
You’re not gonna believe this.
5,000 stocks are down 20%+ from their 52-week highs.
And it gets crazier…
Nearly 4,000 are down 40%+.
Think about what that actually means.
While the major indices have held together, underneath the surface thousands of stocks have already been living through their own bear markets.
The index looking fine while individual stocks are getting absolutely destroyed underneath it.
Some seriously messed up shit when you actually look under the hood.
$ASTS has faced bankruptcy risk, unproven tech, and funding doubt. Now it's launch bottlenecks + manufacturing scale + SpaceX entering D2D, all at once. This, to me, is THE most consequential time for AST. The $2 period was existential, with one or two direct questions that needed answering. Those questions are plural and complex now.
Curious what others think, what’s the biggest risk to $ASTS in the next 12 months, and what's the one thing management needs to fix first?
