I just blocked a woman I’ve known for several years, talked with on the phone and on Zoom calls, because she starts talking about “Garland isn’t doing anything and no one is ever going to be held accountable,” and will go on tweet after tweet arguing.

State Sen. Nathan Dahm (R-OK) has penned several bills loosening gun restrictions, including the nation’s first anti-red flag law. He thinks these bills protect the Second Amendment – and that they make us safer. We think it's probably one or the other. Watch it on @AppleTVPlus.

👀 Sneak a peek at the deepest & sharpest infrared image of the early universe ever taken — all in a day’s work for the Webb telescope. (Literally, capturing it took less than a day!) This is Webb’s first image released as we begin to #UnfoldTheUniverse: nasa.gov/webbfirstimages/

ALT The background of space is black. Thousands of galaxies appear all across the view. Their shapes and colors vary. Some are various shades of orange, others are white. Most stars appear blue, and are sometimes as large as more distant galaxies that appear next to them. A very bright star is just above and left of center. It has eight bright blue, long diffraction spikes. Between 4 o’clock and 6 o’clock in its spikes are several very bright galaxies. A group of three are in the middle, and two are closer to 4 o’clock. These galaxies are part of the galaxy cluster SMACS 0723, and they are warping the appearances of galaxies seen around them. Long orange arcs appear at left and right toward the center.

Corporations are not people. Citizens United was a disastrous decision that's allowed dark money to corrode our politics to this day. It's time to pass my constitutional amendment to #EndCitizensUnited and finally bring transparency to our elections.

PA #redistricting must do better in ensuring full representation. FDPA incorporated PA Voice Unity Maps in our People's House Map-HDs 26, 27 & 37 in Pittsbgh, 82 in York, 188 in Lancaster, 123 & 124 in Reading, 190 in Philly. We ask the LRC to do the same. whyy.org/articles/how-pennsy…

The #CitizensMap combines the 1500 congressional maps Pennsylvanians have drawn for DTL mapping competitions & reflects the values they declared important.
The Citizens' Map, in effect, represents the everyday PA mapper. Check it out & share your feedback! bit.ly/CitizensMap

We're hopeful at the chance for #fairmaps in PA, but also know we need non-stop public attention & comment until maps are drawn & approved. Final sprint in a multi-year marathon to ensure fair districts for PA voters.
Nothing changes until this changes.

#Gerrymandering + Unfair Rules=nothing gets done for people of PA.
Wouldn't it be better FOR ALL OF US if partisan games ended & the real work got done?
Maybe our legislative leaders are ready to listen.

LWVPA supports merit selection of judges.
We oppose #Gerrymandering in all its forms.
We believe in a transparent legislative process & support automatic calendaring.

Rep Schemel says he prefers merit selection but will vote in favor of the amendment "to move it along."
Is that how the process works?
Why not vote NO on a bill that has no merits?
Is legislative peer pressure that strong?

Alarming misstatements by members of @PAHouseGOP about House Bill 38.
Sample from @AndrewLewisPA
NO-57% of PA appellate judges are NOT from Pittsburgh.
NO-HB 38 will not "restore" diversity.
We don't need a voice on the court: we need reasonable voices in our state legislature
