Dear Americans, 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 You put humans on the Moon in 1969. You have NASA, SpaceX, and Silicon Valley. Some of the most advanced technology on Earth. So WHY doesn't America have a nationwide high-speed rail network like Japan or China? I genuinely don't understand. 🤯

역사 속 키 큰 왕들 🇺🇸 워싱턴 188cm (당시 미국 병사 평균 173cm) 🇷🇺 표트르 대제 2m 넘음 (당시 러시아 신병 평균 165cm). 가짜 이름으로 서유럽을 돌았는데 키 때문에 다 들킴 🇰🇷 신라 진평왕 11척 (삼국시대 남자 평균 약 7척, 한나라 자 기준). 삼국유사에 절 돌계단을 밟자 돌이 부서졌다고 나옴 근데 설화 기반이고 당시 1척 길이도 23~36cm로 확실하지 않아서 정확한 키는 아님

Admiral Yi Sun-sin (이순신) failed his first attempt at the Joseon military examination (mugwa / 무과) in 1572, when he was about 28. During the cavalry/horsemanship portion of the exam, he fell from his horse and broke his leg. Tradition holds that he made a rough splint from willow branches, remounted, and finished the test (impressing the examiners with his determination), but he still failed and did not pass.
