Nearly part-time motorman, known to fiddle with slamdoor trains. Makes reasonable tea. If you need to be told that my views are my own then….

What would you pay for one of these little beauties…? Apologies to @MrTimDunn for making his scarf nervous - no scarves were harmed in the retrimming of these seats!!!

@Project_SETG455 - B exam progressed, FMA’s closed, and some fine details added. As you can see it’s all about the attention to detail. Some great work from @apjackson75 and @tickle_liam

I did laddering, general sodding about, sweeping and teaing, with a side order of eating Large German Sausages for breakfast. I may also have achieved a few useful things too.
Trim Shop tidied, more painting finished, pillar drill & lathe moved to final positions and wiring progressed, recovered spares labelled and racked, CCTV upgrade wiring completed at the bottom of the shed, stripped equipment case moved for scrapping. #MinionsAtWork

Visible corrosion on the new Hitachi Intercity fleet already……. I say again these trains are appallingly designed and built. Britain got ripped off. Again.

We can, should and indeed must have nice things. This is one of them.
This week we'd like to share these fantastic photos of our Colne Valley Viaduct 📷👇. The viaduct is the longest railway bridge in the UK and one of the most significant structures on the HS2 route. Stretching 2.1 miles (3.4 km), it will carry the railway across the Colne Valley Regional Park, connecting London and the Midlands while carefully navigating one of the country’s most environmentally sensitive landscapes. Using my scope on my break earlier at Cannon St, I got these shots of @TheShardLondon . I wonder who the photographer was and if they caught me at the same time! 🤣
