Releasing TaoFlows.app 🚀
The fastest Bittensor $TAO transactions dashboard.
+ Real-time block data.
+ Unique flow views.
+ Up to 4 live price charts.
Understand the flow of $TAO liquidity accross all 128 subnets and monitor the trades like nowhere else.
Hope this sets the bar higher for the trading platforms building on Bittensor 🥩
The $TAO subnets I think are hurting Bittensor are those with big promises and poor results.
Let's think about launching a fictive subnet for a second: how do you do this to profit from fools?
1. make a plan about a catchy idea that people will likely vibe with instantly
2. make a glossy website
3. hire a known dev or someone with credentials
4. prepare the launch with pre-launch advertisement
5. when it lands make it big and keep a social interest at all times
6. pump the price as much as possible
7. exit your positions
8. let the product stagnate
9. get deregistered to get back your subnet purchase as a tao refund
10. start start again or launch many in parallel using same methods
When dTao grows a pair of balls these scams won't happen anymore. But as long as people are gulible it will be easy to extract money from you. Do your own research, like in any other crypto. There are no easy money gains
btw, Lium is not one of the $TAO subnets i have anything against
i frequently hear that it's not right that Lium became top bittensor subnet because it's just providing gpus... fair it seems like low effort on the surface...
but you need to understand that the same 8xh200 server could be rented at 1.10$/hr/gpu last year and now it sells like hot bread fresh out of the oven up to 4$/hr/gpu
Lium's strenght is that there is a worldwide gpu shortage. everyone is looking out to rent gpus like these and it sells almost at whatever the price a provider sets.
Lium has compute available while other platforms dont.
They also do retarded Lium buybacks, the biggest share of buybacks of all 128 bittensor subnets.
So Lium is NOT one of the problems bittensor has btw, very important to understand this. In fact, without subnets like Lium, many other subnets wouldnt even have compute to run with
so for as long as gpus sell, this subnet will just keep on rising because there is infinite demand for compute right now
Quantumglow.
Solana has been early in quantum readiness and remains ahead in its preparation.
What would Solana’s consensus look like in a post-quantum world?
Meet Quantumglow: a proposed adaptation of Alpenglow that aims to protect consensus while preserving fast finality.
@jacobvcreech and @qkniep explain how it works. Full video below👇
Why is Chutes SN64 not performing like Lium?
Because it sells secure inference, and inference cost did not 4x like GPUs costs
There will come a time though, pretty sure, where Chutes will do a massive come back with surprising tech progress nobody believes is even possible.
This is still the only subnet I hold long-term. All the others i just rotate.

there isn't a single $TAO subnet that didn't top the moment I bought it
which one am i buying next?

Frontier labs are advancing the capabilities in AI for biology but preventing the good guys (scientists, academia, non-profits, health agencies,...) to use, study and understand it with widespread but shallow guardrails that the bad guys are bypassing easily (blocked me to proofread this tweet for example 😅).
This will automatically create massive assymetry and risks in the coming years, just like in cybersecurity, especially now that frontier labs are building wet labs (HF cybersecurity scenario for biology when?).
This is why we created Carbon-X, the best open-source DNA model by midtraining Qwen3-14B on 300B tokens of DNA, English and interleaved data. We also used a hybrid tokenizer that tokenizes English with BPE and DNA with a 6-mer tokenizer.
As a result, Carbon-X outperforms all open language models we evaluated on five benchmarks of DNA understanding and generation. This is a 27-point improvement over Qwen3-14B, showing how much a language model can gain from DNA training. It is also API frontier level at 1,800x less cost than GPT 6.1 Sol!
We hope Carbon-X helps researchers explore DNA in new ways. Releasing it openly means anyone can study its capabilities, limitations, and risks. Let's make the AI biology frontier open-source to make it safe and impactful for the whole world (not just a few companies).

$TAO TaoFlows app is not at risk of PHP cyberattacks.
We do not use deprecated technology like PHP. All our code packages are latest and includes the latest security patches as they become available.
Our stack is Linux + Rust + Next.js
Wallet connection uses only official libraries which are carefully audited and tested against the latest subtensor runtime code.

🚨ALARMING: Major U.S. banks are detecting UNAUTHORIZED AI agents accessing customer accounts, with some reportedly taking actions beyond users' instructions, per Axios.
Morgan Stanley, JPMorgan, Bank of America and Citi are restricting third-party AI access as security concerns grow.
The biggest risks:
- AI agents could make purchases or move funds without clear user authorization.
- Banks are struggling to distinguish human activity from AI agents acting independently.
- Some AI agents have reportedly contacted bank call centers on customers' behalf.
Banks are now moving toward READ-ONLY access, allowing AI to view financial information without making transactions.
The growing concern is that AI agents are advancing FASTER than banks can secure their systems.

The internet is going into a LOCKDOWN.
Hundreds of millions of websites are potentially at risk from cyberattacks.
Governments, banks and major platforms have already taken their websites OFFLINE.
Many are already calling it “Black October.”
At the centre of the shutdowns is something most of us have never heard of, but use every day.
PHP, the software behind roughly 7 in 10 websites, has two critical flaws that can let hackers break in without a password.
Dubbed PHP2Shell, both are rated 9.2 out of 10 for severity.
Details began circulating on Oct 20. Emergency fixes arrived the next day, but attackers were already moving.
Cloudflare’s CEO says hacking attempts then jumped from thousands to MILLIONS within hours.
Cybersecurity agencies across several countries are telling PHP site owners the same thing: Patch it now, or take it offline.
Websites have gone dark worldwide, from government portals and hospitals to banks.
CrowdStrike warns these attacks leave almost no trace, so some sites may not know if they’ve been hit.
Around 2.6 MILLION internet-facing servers run PHP, potentially hosting hundreds of sites each.
Over 1.1 million use older versions no longer receiving official PHP updates.
Older installations may need an upgrade to a supported PHP version or a fix from their software provider.
And patching does not remove a backdoor an attacker may already have planted.
Cloudflare also says hackers are now tweaking their attacks to try to slip past its protections.
But PHP isn’t the only security story unfolding.
-Japan’s Onamae suspended ALL Desktop Cloud plans after malware was found on customer servers.
-India’s eMudhra had 8 website-certificate keys so weak, one was literally the number “4”.
-State Bank of India confirmed 3,897 customer records on the dark web.
-Criminals used AI agents to break into 400+ Latin American banks.
-Capcom confirmed a breach exposing 11.7 million email addresses.
-GitLab disclosed a 10/10 severity flaw in versions going back to 2014.
-LiteLLM removed a malware-containing release. Railway reported possible exposure of customer secrets.
None of these has a confirmed link to PHP2Shell.
We’re seeing separate breaches unfold together.
The true number of incidents could take months to come out.
The world is still on alert. Attacks are still coming.

Pou chèf gang yo ak manm gang yo k ap kenbe kat konpatriyòt nou yo an otaj ann Ayiti:
Nou deja fini ak gang yo nan El Salvador, e nou kapab fini ak nou tou.
Nou toujou gen tan pou evite sa.
Remèt nou kat konpatriyòt nou yo vivan, san okenn mal, epi tout bagay ap retounen jan sa te ye anvan kidnaping lan.
Desizyon an nan men nou.
My belief in $TAO is shaken.
Bittensor is high on hopes, low on actual proof of useful work.
New Bitcoins are only given to miners. There are no exploits. The only "exploit" you can find in Bitcoin is creating better mining hardware which makes bitcoin stronger.
Even among subnets, those doing the actual useful work get dumped like trash and the subnets with good promo videos pump instead in a great rotation game among 5k wallets per week.
Asked grok wtf this retard means for dummies:
The poster is saying he’s losing confidence in **Bittensor ($TAO)** because it feels more like hype and speculative trading than a system that reliably rewards real, useful AI work.
He’s comparing it to Bitcoin: every new BTC is earned only by miners who burn energy and do actual proof-of-work that secures the network. Better hardware just makes Bitcoin stronger — there’s no free money handed out to passive holders or people who aren’t doing real work. He argues Bittensor doesn’t work that cleanly. TAO (and the subnet tokens) get emitted even when some of the activity is passive staking, “useless” validators, or other low-effort ways of capturing rewards rather than genuine productive AI work. In his view, that makes the inflation less efficient and less valuable than Bitcoin’s.
The last part is about the market behavior of the subnets themselves. He claims the ones that are actually doing useful work often get sold off (“dumped like trash”), while the ones with slick promo videos and good marketing tend to pump. He sees it as a rotating speculative game mostly played by a relatively small set of wallets (~5k per week) rather than sustained demand based on real utility.
In short: he’s calling Bittensor high on narrative and low on strict “proof of useful work,” and he thinks the current token/subnet dynamics reward promotion and speculation more than actual productive AI output. (His later replies in the thread double down on the “there shouldn’t be free TAO” point.)

Effective Immediately, all organizations using PHP for their systems are advised to be prepared for an update addressing two critical vulnerabilities. PHP is widely used for web applications. These vulnerabilities often provide a direct path to the server's file system or database. If an immediate update is not feasible, it is recommend that organizations take the system offline until it can be fully mitigated. NSA will follow up shortly with more specific guidance.
Alpenglow is now live on Solana mainnet. ⛰️
Finality just went from ~12.8 seconds to ~150ms.
The biggest consensus upgrade in Solana’s history, built by @anza_xyz.
GPT-Rosalind surfaced a new lead for drug discovery: could restoring cholesterol transport protect neurons from degeneration?
DCTN1 is a gene linked to Perry syndrome, a rare neurodegenerative disorder. In mouse-brain data, disrupting it increased expression of genes involved in making cholesterol. GPT-Rosalind suggested a possible explanation: cholesterol may not be reaching where neurons need it.
That gives scientists a specific mechanism to test and, if confirmed, a direction for developing new treatments for neurodegenerative disorders.
With @perturbai_tx and @scrippsresearch, a team of thousands of GPT-Rosalind agents worked in parallel, connecting gene-expression results from millions of mouse brain cells with scientific literature in just 32 minutes. We’re now expanding this collaboration to identify new drug targets.
