Recently we learned that disgraced, fired trooper Michael Proctor had interviewed for the Boston Police Department prior to joining the Massachusetts State Police. BPD ultimately denied him the job.
But now, after receiving more documentation from Proctor's work history, Attorney Rosemary Scappichio says that BPD was not the only department to reject Proctor. He had applied for other unknown departments in the state and they too rejected the now decertified trooper.
Also - and what I think is most shocking - MSP rejected his first application with them as well. This puts much more context to his white supremacist group chat buddies when Proctor questioned how he even scored the MSP gig in the first place.
So the question is: after being denied once, how did MSP end up hiring Proctor? Did he complete extra training or schooling for the job? Or.. did he get a reference from someone who mattered? Perhaps someone he would eventually owe a favor to?
I went over this before but is it likely, with these new documents, that Attorney Scappichio was given all of this information and then some. And it is only a matter of time before the public finds out..

A lot of moving parts with the ongoing Clancy saga, but the Sue O'Connell @SueOC_NBCBoston interview with 3 jurors is powerful proof that the Plymouth DA should take very seriously as he considers his next move: according to 3 jurors, all 12 jurors found reasonable doubt and believed the DA failed to establish Clancy was able to form criminal intent at the time she killed her children. Add in the position of Patrick Clancy and his family, and a retrial in these circumstances would be virtually unprecedented.

This is the link to the full interviews of three of the jurors by @SueOC_NBCBoston. I have not been able to watch the interviews in full but from what I have seen, Sue has done an outstanding job with these interviews. Sue is a consummate professional and the jurors made an excellent choice with who to trust with interviews of this magnitude.

Per the Boston Globe:
Norfolk County isider Greg Connor "says it’s wrong to judge the office by two cases." (O'Keefe and Birchmore) 🚩
Adam Deitch "has extensive experience investigating official misconduct and prosecuting corruption — in Norfolk County."
".. the Globe editorial board believes Adam Deitch, a former federal prosecutor, is the candidate best equipped to do so and endorses him in the Sept. 1 Democratic primary."
"Based on his breadth of experience and legal acumen, we believe Adam Deitch is that candidate."

Respectfully, @djunaperkins, this is a political cheap shot and beneath your dignity.
You know nothing about the federal investigation, what evidence they had, how they investigated and why they got involved.
I had never met @adamdeitch before the Read case, but I am supporting him in this race because he has displayed the ethics, judgment and experience that are necessary to be district attorney.
In an office that featured festering incompetence and poor judgment, Adam is the breath of fresh air that is necessary to establish the office’s credibility and commitment to justice.
You owe him an apology.

Here is a picture of Michael Proctor sitting outside his deposition on June 25 pretending to have a panic attack so that he could avoid going back in. He is now alleging that this information came from Karen Read, but as you can see from this still photograph, it obviously came from another source who witnessed this public display of shame.

Grant more good solid reporting. You did your job. MA Uniform Rules of Impoundment 2(a)(3) provides that the motion and affidavit seeking impoundment shall be public unless otherwise addressed by the court. Attorneys need to be cautious in drafting these documents with this in mind. The sensitive material needs to be separately submitted in camera. Otherwise, good reporters can and should shine light on it. The judicial culture in MA needs to get comfortable with public scrutiny. Thats what the framers envisioned 250 years ago. I wonder if the court didn't read the rule. Happy birthday America! Good job Grant.

A damning new public records request shows that Greg Connor was very involved in the Karen Read prosecution, and he lied about it. 🗣
In February 2026, when he announced his run for District Attorney, Norfolk County Chief Trial Counsel Greg Connor said he had no involvement in the Karen Read case or the murder investigation into John O’Keefe. He even pointed to the fact that Hank Brennan was brought in as a special prosecutor for the second trial, as if that cleared him completely.
Spoiler: It doesn’t.
Because if Connor truly had nothing to do with this case, especially the second prosecution, then why are there 7,428 emails after the July 2024 mistrial? That is not a small number. That is not someone on the sidelines. That is someone actively involved.
We already saw him sitting in the courtroom during trial one, taking notes. At the time, it seemed minimal. Now it looks like that was just what was visible. The emails tell a much bigger story, and it directly contradicts what he told the public.
This is a major credibility problem for Connor. You cannot say you had no involvement when the records suggest the opposite. 🤯
Connor held a public-facing role and his communications are subject to public records laws. He knew that. Which makes this even worse, because it shows a willingness to say one thing publicly while doing another behind the scenes.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Connor is shaping up to be Morrissey 2.0. If people are not paying attention when they vote, we will see more Karen Read’s in the future.

100%. Now ask yourself: why is Morrissey so hellbent on keeping her murder listed as a suicide? Who else is involved that they may be covering for?

Another explosive turn in Sandra Birchmore’s murder.. and this one is coming from a federal witness list.
According to recent reporting by @MicheleMcPhee, Jason Pickard, a U.S. Army recruiter who had a relationship with Sandra Birchmore, is expected to testify for federal prosecutors in the case against Matthew Farwell. He is expected to take the stand as part of the government’s case, and the details being reported add another layer to what prosecutors are building.
The article states that Pickard had a sexual relationship with Sandra and that there were communications between him and the Farwell brothers that included explicit images of her being shared. 😭
That is significant because it suggests these relationships were not isolated and that there was communication between these men about Sandra, which the government can use to establish overlap, awareness, and a broader pattern of behavior.. which is exactly where the federal case has been heading.
Prosecutors are not just focused on the circumstances of Sandra’s death. They are building a narrative around the environment she was in, the people involved in her life, and what may have been known or exchanged between them.
If Pickard testifies, he becomes a direct source for that timeline.
He can speak to his own relationship with Sandra, his communications, and what interactions may have occurred with the Farwells. That kind of testimony does not just fill in gaps. It gives the jury something they can hear, evaluate, and weigh in real time.
And when you step back and look at what’s being alleged here, it paints a much bigger picture than just one person’s actions. You’re looking at multiple grown men, some in positions of authority, allegedly sharing images of the same young woman and maintaining overlapping relationships with her. That is not just reckless behavior, it raises serious questions about what was normalized behind the scenes and who knew what.
If that is what the evidence ultimately supports in court, then this case is not just about Matthew Farwell. It becomes about a culture and a pattern of conduct that goes far beyond one individual.
