Founder: An investor got back to me; they said "no" and listed some reasons. They got it all wrong, though. Should I reply and try to convert them?
Pro-founder: Learning to counter objections in writing teaches you to avoid them in the first place. You should do it, but don't expect them to convert.
Thinking: Pitches don't always go great, and investors will not "get" you 100% of the time (or 30%, let's be real). They might also have valid objections. Great pitchers know how to anticipate these and proactively avoid them. Responding in writing is a good exercise to teach you how to do it.
Every pitch is a learning and growth exercise.
