I was experimenting with a lot of different effects and techniques today.
This is one of my prettiest effects so far.

Here is a tutorial I put together on how I make animations in Clip Studio Paint! Hope some folks find this helpful! (1/9)
Majority of my conflicted relationships with BSD as media stands from the fact that I knew a big chunk of authors prior to watching which makes the experience questionable
On one hand characters are so VASTLY different from real life examples
Yet on the other some references+
A big chunk of them I read WAY before I watched the show either because I was:
A. Depressed as fuck (Dazai, Poe, Lovecraft)
B. Was forced to read it because it’s classical literature (Dostoyevsky, Gogol, Pushkin, Twain, Fitzgerald, Melville, Alcott, Mitchell, Christie, Stoker)
Not exactly like it hut hyper fixate and indulge in it as guilty pleasure(?)
Started watching the show this summer and started liking it after Chuuya’s introduction lmao
I wouldn’t really say favorite cause I don’t care for them all that much
But I feel like their backstory, ability and relationships with Dazai/Chuuya/Mori could be interesting to explore
the way they only appeared for a short while to be sent into oblivion by the plot is sad
I don’t really ship anything in BSD simply because I don’t find myself interested with majority of the characters but I feel like Chuuya x Ranpo and Chuuya x Yosano are two ships I find weirdly appealing lmao
Only read stormbringer and I am still SO MAD about the wasted characters of flags
Not because I had any sort of connection to them (literally how could I have lmao) but because their concepts gave so much more depth to Port Mafia as an organization and its structure
The one trio that never have any sort of meaningful interactions between each other
Aka
THE THREE USED BY MORI CHILDREN
