In this screen capture from CTV News you see a child being used as a shield by a parent at the occupation. This is not the only child being used this way; truly a cruel and criminal act. Thankfully the police were more concerned about the child than the parents.
My opinion: The CCLA law suit against the federal government is nothing more than a publicity stunt. It’s a waste of time and money in the midst of a serious national crisis.
The CCLA suggests Trudeau’s first ever, solitary use of emergency legislation somehow ‘normalizes’ it and threatens democracy. Give me a break! They obviously don’t understand the meaning of normal.
