Discord will soon make public server messages searchable on Google
The feature will be enabled by default for US adults, but users can opt out in their privacy settings
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Missing context: only applies to messages posted after the update, in public channels of discoverable servers.
No private servers or DMs.
Indexed messages won’t show usernames or avatars.
Admins can opt out entire servers; users can opt out their own messages.

it's not rolled out just in the USA.
I'm in New Zealand.
It's already enabled by default on mine.

Hey, so uh.. yea i'm also on bluesky, because i'm not trying to shove a link in here but id o'nt like being advertised do every 20 seconds just to reply to someone.
I don't have the monetary output to pay for something that supports war anyways.
Oh yea, that's right ther'es going to be an absolute bombing influnce of AI generative media shoved in my face on here.
....*sighs* You do you boo, i'm not getting into AI vs Non AI fights on here -- it exhausted me trying it on TT lol
Ok so the only #ffxiv Intro i can pull is that y'all have seen me on BSKY and Tiktok: I am a YT/Twitch creator doing a youtube series called Tales of Osea, you can watch the eps + read stories here: tales-of-osea.vercel.app #gposers #FinalFantasyXIV
....I was going to try and say I would'nt post much here at all and then i realized "I'm a content creator, As much as I can't stand this platform it's another place to share my content" ... *facepalms* ... I am not smart somedays.
