Wow this is like socialism but solely for the nation. I wonder if there are any names for it that won't cause confusion in 80 years

🚨 ‘Ashita no Joe’ Creator Tetsuya Chiba has Passed Away at the age of 87.
He was the first Manga artist to ever receive Japan's Order of Culture.
That Arrieta start is probably my second favorite playoff game ever.
Pittsburgh won 98 games in 2015, the second best record in baseball, and all it bought them was one game against Jake Arrieta.
Arrieta threw a complete game shutout at PNC Park, struck out 11, walked nobody, and the Cubs won 4 to 0.
The year before, the Pirates' Wild Card game was against Madison Bumgarner, and he shut them out too. Two straight Octobers that lasted exactly one night.
Which team's October luck bothers you most?
Sports suck. I am joining the war on sports on the side of people who still use the phrase sportsball

Nathan: Do you understand why this is funny?
Elizabeth: The kid had a thousand island stare?
Nathan: Sort of. Stavros meant to say “thousand yard stare,” but he’s morbidly obese. Also I’m gay.
Since the Rays are water based and likely know at least water gun, I'm feeling better about this series
Jacob Misiorowski was asked what Pokémon energy he was bringing to #WorldSeries Game 1:
"Definitely the flame energy. What's Charizard's signature move? Fireball. Bring some fireball. I'm going to be ready."

ALT On the left side on the graphic, blue text reads “Milwaukee Brewers” in blue font against a beige background. The rest of the graphic has a dark blue background. A large heading reads “Miz” with a subheading, “Gotta strike ‘em all out!” There is a large cutout of Jacob Misiorowski pumping his fist and yelling in excitement. He wears a cream-colored Brewers uniform and blue cap.
That mass effect trailer looks like something for a generic game that is about five years out from release. No difficulty at all believing it's real.
I did this too. Thanks @cardinals
Consoles are so dead
'the price of the [Xbox] Helix console has internally been projected to cost consumers between $1,200 and $1,800, unless Microsoft decides to subsidize the cost'
-Game Pass planning major overhaul (a la carte)
-next-gen handheld by 2027 holidays, console 2028 holidays
