I don't care to argue this or turn it into a movement. The move to put #Helldivers2 on Xbox is absolutely vile.

This is good. Two of the worst things to me about souls likes are respawning enemies, and the walkback to the boss.
Sounds like this game specifically addressed that. Will play it in a year or two.
The creators of Phantom Blade Zero don’t want players to suffer like they do in Dark Souls. According to the head of S-Game, life is already hard enough without having to struggle in video games too.
The developers have tried to eliminate unnecessary frustration while keeping combat spectacular and intense:
Death carries no major penalties.
Defeated enemies do not respawn.
Boss fights feature checkpoints between phases, so players won’t have to restart the entire battle.
Three difficulty settings are available: Easy, Normal, and Hard.
A permadeath mode unlocks after completing the game.

The core philosophy behind Phantom Blade Zero is to make players feel incredibly powerful rather than punish them for every mistake.

This is it! The multi billion dollar question that no Xbox fan, no matter how optimistic has ever given a cogent answer to.
To be fair, Xbox gave in.
They first gave in to PC, then to Steam, then to PlayStation. PS fans been telling you that exclusives matter. What were you saying back then? What are you saying now vis-a-vis PC?
Because only true exclusives count.
Nintendo has multiple failed consoles they never forfeited their exclusive IP. And these influencers and journos demanding Xbox to give in? Why is it okay for Nintendo or PlayStation to retain exclusives no matter of cost, layoffs and expectations but for Xbox they don’t have that same privilege to release Xbox games only on Xbox ?

In Victoria, every 10 or so years we have an election where we think we're bored with the current government so vote in the liberals, after 1 term we realise how fucked they really are and go back to Labor after the liberals sell off everything because they can't manage money or public services.

This game deserved better. And no, I don't mean that it should be on PS5. I mean that the Xbox & PC fanbase should have bought and played it more. It's a great game.

They've figured out, it's far easier to increase profits by removing value than by introducing new innovations. That's why services like prime remove features from your subscription, then sell them back to you at a higher price. Ditto with hardware companies like Apple.
