Condolences to family/friends of Rod Liddle. I bear no hard feelings about him ridiculing me. Yet, I’m saddened how mocking commentary has a negative impact on trans people and other marginalised groups. Indeed, it has become toxic. 1 of 2 @SuttonBranchLab @andyburnham @PinkNews
2/In my situation & many more serious cases it’s The Sun that holds editorial responsibility Whilst IPSO unusually ruled in my favour it failed to deal with further abuse. It’s why we need independent regulation & trust @andyburnham will deliver justice for press abuse victims
I was pleased to speak at the Hacked Off Rally @hackinginquiry in Westminster campaigning for independent press regulation, many powerful stories that argue the case for change, a better Britain with a balanced press regulation system.
I was pleased to meet with Zac Polanski and Hannah Spencer as part of a @hackinginquiry delegation to discuss independent press regulation and was encouraged that they will continue to support the campaign for change.

When powerful media owners get two meetings in a year and victims get none, priorities are clear!
The PM has met Lachlan Murdoch twice in the last 12 months. Over 30 victims wrote to the PM requesting a meeting and still nothing.
