I’m so tired of the argument that a woman’s anatomy is to blame for ACL injuries. Let’s start with giving athletes in girls’ and women’s sports the same access to facilities, training, and resources. Let’s start with harmful societal beliefs about gender and sport.
This past spring & summer, top women’s soccer players succumbed to ACL tears. Macario, Putellas, Press, Marozsan, Katoto, Davidson…an endless list of talent down in succession.
