Me: (offering my review of @themarsvolta record) Kind of miss not needing a dictionary to look up words as Cedric belts "Amputechture!" "Vivisection!" "Cloaca!"

"James Crow" is out now! I'm so excited to share it with you. From the one-take music video to the heady lyrical themes, everything about it was tricky to pull off artistically. I'm really proud of it & I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.

New @mobleywho video "James Crow," as well as the connected "Nobody's Favourite" short, are really intriguing and well done. Totally have me cliffhanging on the plot. Also: he's embarking on a Curbside Tour, playing the single for fans outside their homes. austinchronicle.com/daily/mu…
Wouldn't that be nice.... #saveourstages

The music industry is really setup to minimize & extinguish the joy of sharing art for the average artist. Gamifying & data-mining every interaction can just wreck our ability to remember how monumental it is to create something that reaches even one other person.
Don’t let it.

Very proud of this project. It'll premiere on YouTube tomorrow (Aug 18) at 8p CT. A bunch of the artists who made it will be in the live chat and then at 8:30p CT, I'll be hosting a live panel with @ShakeyGraves, @jimenoacid, @AJHAYNES and more!
