Do not take the slights of the day personally—or the exciting rewards and recognitions either, especially when duty has assigned you an important cause. #TheDailyStotic

Montgomery, Ala. – April 27, 2026 — @clasleaders celebrated excellence in education by recognizing 32 Schools of Distinction across Alabama’s eight State School Board Districts and announcing the prestigious 2025 CLAS Banner Schools during an awards luncheon held in Prattville on April 27, 2026.
Established in 2001, the CLAS Banner School program honors schools across Alabama that demonstrate exceptional programs, innovative practices, and an unwavering commitment to student success. With 189 schools nominated statewide by their superintendents, earning this recognition is an extraordinary achievement.
In an incredible clean sweep of District 4, the following campuses were recognized as CLAS Schools of Distinction:
• @TCSSkyland — The Power of Four.
• @STARS_TCS — Blooming in SEL — and recipients of the prestigious 2025 CLAS Banner Award.
• @TMSElementary — Beyond the Classroom Initiative.
• @WestlawnTCS — Transforming a School’s Culture Through Character Education.
These recognitions are a powerful reflection of the innovation, dedication, and heart that our educators and school communities bring to students every single day. We are incredibly proud of the way these schools continue to elevate excellence within while earning recognition at the state level.
Congratulations to all for this outstanding accomplishment! #AMAZINGtotheCORE

When it comes to leadership everyone wants the position but they don’t want the problems. Positive leaders care more about solving problems than their position.
